From the recent survey it has been found that around 88 percent of millennials want to
work for the company which reflect value by their own. In addition to this 86 percent of
millennials state that they can leave employer in case the level of corporate responsibilities no
longer match their expectation. This research depict about the way young millennial are
searching for their personal fulfilment in career life which has bring a drastic changes in
workplace. It means now a days employers are no longer affording simply to pay services in
relation with issues like gender diversity, equality and sustainability and they are willing to
actively tackle them.
On the other hand employees at a purpose-led have an ability to make a business three
times more productive as compare to average workforce. Employee become more energetic and
enthusiastic when they know that their contribution bring a big change and millennials are big
picture thinker. In order to appear socially ethical on surface businesses now started
incorporating and internalising the purpose driven attitude for empowering millennial workforce.
As a strong team ethos is consider as lifeblood of a successful business. In order to have a
workplace that motivate employees company must work toward a common vision. This is
inescapable that both shareholder as well as owner expect a return from their efforts. But if
workers go into office everyday and know that their efforts or work are going to provide benefit
to society then this will be a powerful motivator for workforce.
