INTRODUCTION
In today's world, it is very important to be conscious about health and its related issues.
Also, in modern era, there are some victims of domestic violence and other issues who need to
reside and take help from the health care centre. This present report has been prepared in the
aspect of charity namely MIND charity organization , which is a health care charity based in UK.
It aim to provide health services to its patients who are mental patients and victims of depression.
Also, PESTLE analysis of the cited organization has been done in respect of expansion of its
operations. Many people are becoming victims of depression and mental pressure (Arnold and
Boggs, 2015). In this report various aims and objective along with the mission of It can also be
analysed that organizational structure of MIND is not so complex. Also, the organization has
been thinking to expand its operations to render its services to victims of violence.
TASKS
PART A
1. Corporate governance its mission,vision and stakeholders of MIND
Corporate governance : It is a kind of system which involve various
rules,processes,direction and control. It helps to manage the management ,stakeholders its
customers in relation with the MIND. It mobilizes the role and responsibility of the minds
organisation towards its services governed to the mental heath of the people. The strategy of the
organisation is to provide assistance to the disable people with proper leadership and reporting to
its stakeholders.
MIND organisation deals in the mental issues of the people because its aim it to serve them with
the best services that are available with them because it is a kind problem which will happens to
anyone old and rich , child or youngster, your friends and the associate of the organisations.
After the second world war top 3 national association has joins together to form the MIND
(Berkman, Davis and McCormack, 2010). As a charity it is develop in the England to help the
unsound mind people of the country . So that they are able to create an image in the minds of the

people that they are experience the world with their quality and will power (We're Mind, the
mental health charity, 2017). under the mental kit cover treatment ,recovery and issues related to
the type of mental impact to the person .As the organisation had made such a kind of image that
their demand is increasing day by day . So to help them so many more association and the
NGOs(non government organisation) are joining to support to the mind .
Mission
They are very focussed on their mission which shows there commitment that to proposal
and support to anyone having mental and health issues. with the help of valuable training facility
is being provided by the experience professional (Boxall and et.al, 2012). For their dedication to
create awareness among the people that they are forever to help and support them until they are
not well.
Vision
The vision is very clear that until everyone experience the top-quality support and
assistance form the MIND organisation they are not going to leave you.
Goals of the MIND
1. Open to every time : It clear from their thought that anytime help is available to
the people and they are ready to welcome you.
2. Co-ordination : Another important thing with the minds is that they are having
health partnership and coordination with their members and the stakeholders.
3. Quick response : The most important strategy of the MIND is to listen and act
very quickly.
4. Independent : They are free to work fearlessly to the government or the people
that they are always aid to guide and support (Drummond and et. al., 2015).
Stakeholders of the MIND
They are single ,group and administration that are responsible for the activity of the
business .in the case of the mind organization the stakeholder are act as a member and director
which support and guide the working management of the operations of the MIND. Under the
stakeholder categories it is divided into two parts :
1. Internal : As a internal stakeholder they can playing an important role as a

2. External : As a external he is acting as a creditor,shareholder and government
body which provide the financial support to the MIND. so that they can cure the
mental people in healthy manner .
The policy of the corporate partner are very clear that they are not need to make the up front
payment to the co partners. Another important issues with the partner that they can not release
any news or statement related with the organisation without informing to the stage-management
co partner have to make an application and send it to the approval in written to the board of
director of mind (Gubbels and et. al., 2010). They basically wants that the organisation to give
more benefit to the poor and the young people that at the initial age of their life they are having
such kind of the mental issues which make them loss of their life in the early age .
2. Organizational Structure of MIND

The above shown structure highlight the image of the stages of the Mind organisation .
In the 1st stage : It start with the CEO (chief executive officer) office of MIND in which
distinctly indicate that that its role of planning , monitoring , Accounting and Evaluating the
strategy with the next 3 other team department (McHugh and et. al., 2011). All the officers and
manger of various department have to report directly to the top management related to any kind
of issues of internal audit and grievances of the member and the workers.
In the 2nd stage : Following departments are come under the chief executive officer
1. public sector capability department : It is one of the department that look after the
concepts, quality ,delivering the services and evaluation and continuous review of
the MIND working and development of the product and services towards public
and their mental condition status and improvement is required and how it will
make impact on the organisation .The department also ensure that they are
delivery good varieties of product and services to the people so that it will make
them better hospitality in terms of treatment (Epstein and et. al., 2010) .The
department is well enough to manage the public services and human resource
development. For the help of the the department there are several head are also
categories so that the work is divided according to the need of the different
department .It also help to overcome the burden one the hand of the one person.
Like:
a. Planning and development of the products : under this head there is team working as a
planning of the program related with the products of MIND and creating developmental plan to
make changes in it.
b. Delivery and Administration : This team is responsible to scheduled program regarding
the delivery of the service to the needed people related with the mental issues (Mohan and
Branford, 2012).
c. Quality assurance department : The last department under this category is the checking
the quality of the products or treatment given to the people in the organisation.

2. Business development and communication department : under this department the
overall activity of the business of MIND is look after in proper coordination is
established among the team member, so that they can work as a unit in the
organisation .the most important part under this department is deals with the
relation between the stakeholders and the management and make the solution by
communicating with the organisations. It also identify that the new advancement
and support from outside like from government and some other parties (Moorhead
and et. al., 2014). It also help to protect the interest of the stakeholders for the
business development and identify the new strategy in the market.
3. Finance,Human resource management and institutional strengthening : This
department is Woking for all the aspects of the financial management of the
organisation and at the same time to maintain a relation between the human and
corporate services. This department manage all the cash inflows , Budget
forecasting and risk management associated with the MIND organisation . It help
to enhance the MIND of the human resource capacity and the ratio of continuous
learning . It also help to maintain the social responsibilities in the context of the
development of the organisation .
4. MIND is also dealing with the auditing committee appointed by the government
of the Jamaica with 7 member in the entire the public sector . The report are
divided into two basis one in quarterly and another in the yearly basis which is to
be submitted with the financial secretory , audit commissioner,the general and the
most important to the chairman of the MIND organisation (Morgan and Yoder,
2012). All the report has to be properly made and accurate, so that it is easy to
analyse.

Political: Political factor are usually how the government intervenes in the MIND charity
(Nigam, and Ocasio, 2010). Actually, political factor is the place where, it is provide tax policy,
Government services, environmental law and other services which relates from political factor to
the MIND charity. Government always provide their services to the charity because they don't
want to unhealthy and uneducated people. For the charity, Government should also supply their

career knowledge and also emphasis on condition etc. The social factor also impact of the
demand of the charity's product and how the charity runs it. For example, the old population may
express a little and less-willing hands. Therefore, charity can change management strategies for
the purpose of recruiting old workers. So, the social factor of the charity should be effective. The
cited organization should also consider all the social factors so that they interests of societal
people can not be harmed.
Technological: Technological factor is the next step of the social factor. Technological
factor include for the charity like, Rural and Development activity, technology and other
technical services etc. Technology can change the quality, cost, and innovation. The
technological factor improve the technology for the purpose of charity that affect the mental
health service of the charity (Nigam and Ocasio, 2010). The technological factor increase the
awareness about the technology for the purpose of charity.

MIND was established in 1946 named as national association for mental health (NAMH).
Mission of MIND charity is that it support and empower the person who is suffering from mental
illness. MIND advice and provide information about the mental disease and create awareness
among people (Rolim and et. al., 2010).
Domestic Abuse is carrying out of any activity like threatening, forcing, controlling,
coercive, violence against the person aged 16 years or more than that who are family members or
intimate partners independent of sexuality of person. Domestic violence is harassment of person
psychological, sexual, physical, emotional, mental and physical health.
More than 35,000 cases of domestic violence are recorded from 2009 to till now in
London. MIND is supporting domestic violence victims with help of development of there
specialist centres. Incidents of Domestic abuse is increased by 23 percentage within last year.
MIND help people to be more confident and have more control on their lives and to be more
strong. Low self esteem, feeling powerless and helpless and more stressed is the consequences of
domestic violence which results in mental illness (Shortliffe and Cimino, 2013).
Recommendation to MIND CHARITY for expansion of special centres for domestic
violence victims are-
2. The MIND charity should use continuously Enhanced application of communication
media for spreading awareness about the mental illness and its cure. Ex. The MIND
charity [participated in marathon run for informing the people about the mental health
and domestic violence.

3. The non profit organisation like MIND should use proper management between the
customers and donors with the interval of time period for expansion of their social help to
domestic violence victims.
4. The MIND charity should ensure the commitment of employees toward the suffering
people and provide proper information about the job.
5. The CEO of organisation should ensures the proper establishment of customer centred
brand and corporation between the organisation and the needy peoples. And providing
effective and efficient tools for better communication.
6. There should not be divergence between the promise made to customer and the service
provided by employees of the organisation.
7. The organisation has proper management system for providing training to the employees
of organisation to increase there efficiency. Ex. MIND charity have fully developed
training and development system in organisation and well established information
providing system about mental health.
8. The MIND organisation should adopt continuously skill based changes and structural
changes in the organisation. Like the employee should be motivated to work socially and
collectively for supporting a huge group of domestic violence patients.
9. The organisation should establish a method of providing information to the people. Ex.
MIND organise a annual conference to launch a debate within the topics of well-being of
person and about the cure of mental illness. Many people attend MIND's annual
conference in Brighton to enhance there knowledge and motivate the charity people to
doing such social activities regularly.
10. The debate also helps the organisation to develop new ideas for expansion and
management of there services effectively by brainstorming of people participation
(Weber and et. al., 2010).
11. The company should ensure best emergency services on which customers can relay on
that services. MIND should offer a dedicated team of people for course of their
emergency services. Services should include police, medical help, ambulance, search and
rescue team.

16. Carrying a regular basis campaign to ensure the funding sources for the organisation to
provide better and quantitative services to the abused domestic violence person and
helping them to distress them out from such a difficult situation of powerlessness
(Shamian and et. al., 2016).
By adopting above these recommendation the organisation namely MIND can expand
there social services with help of establishing well developed speciality centres for victims of
domestic violence.

From this above report it can be summarised that there should be an environment full of
health and safety. Various measures should be adopted in order to achieve by health and social
care organizations and charities so that every patients can be taken care of. In this report
missions and vision along with its objectives have been discussed. They are require to be
achieved by taking proper steps and initiatives. Also, analysis of the cited charity in order to
expand its operations and functions have been undertaken. Various recommendations has also
been given in order to give effect the growth and expansion of the charity organisation namely
MIND.
