INTRODUCTION
In the present scenario, organizing and managing conference is not an easy task as parties
are required to take several factors into considerations. Furthermore, conference will be
organized in London in the year 2017 by the name of “Mini conference”. It can be stated that the
main aim behind carrying out the conference will be to bring businesses have same goals and
objectives to a common platform. Along with this, all the companies which are going to attend
the conference will be encouraged to invest funds London's travel and tourism sector. It can be
expressed that all well known and recognized brands in the world will be the one which are
going to visit the event. All these companies will be encouraged to invest their surplus amount in
growth and development of London tourism and travel sector. Further there were total 200
organizations which were invited and out of them 50 has accepted the invitation. Multinational
companies such as Walmart (One of the biggest retailer in world), Tata group (a India based
multinational conglomerate), Samsung ( One of the leading mobile phone manufacturer) etc. will
be attending the conference.

Brief overview of the cultural as well as ethical background considerations of the conference
participants
It can be stated that at the time of carrying out the conference, the cultural and ethical
background of companies visiting will be required to considered. In addition to this, the
conference cannot be made successful by neglecting ethical and cultural backgrounds of the all
delegates. Furthermore, description of major companies along with their background is provided
below as:
WalMart stores- Wal-Mart is an American based multinational organization which was founded
in the year 2002. The organization is also considered as the largest chain of discounting
supermarkets in all across the globe (Our story, 2016). The brand is having its headquarter in
America where Spanish and English are the two common languages which are spoken in the
nation. Most of the individuals in its entire population are Christians and few of them are also
Muslims. However, it can be argued that high level of injustice prevail or exist in the nation in

terms of race and religion. In context of food, burgers, chicken, meat and hot dogs are mostly
preferred by Americans.
Samsung- It is a multi nation conglomerate which is serving in many nations of the world and
has its headquarter in South Korea (About us, 2016). The brand majority deals in variety of
electronic products and services. Korean is the official language which is spoken in the country
and majority of individuals in the nation believes in sincerity. Dakgalbi, bulgogi and cold
noodels are considered as the food which has been mostly preferred by people in south Korea.
Hanbok is the national dress of people in South Korea and many individuals wear the same.
Tata group: Established in the year 1864, Tata group is an India based global enterprise
operating in different nations of the world. At present the group consists of more than 30 listed
businesses and has employed over 600000 personnel. It can be stated that as it is an India based
group, the key languages spoken are Hindi and English. Along with this, Jainism, Buddhism,
Sikhism, Islam and Hinduisms are the key religion followed in India (About India, 2016). A
