Mini Projects & Employability: Community, Ethics, Globalization

This project examines the influence of mini-projects on employability, focusing on various aspects such as local community involvement, ethical considerations in the workplace, the effects of globalization, and the differences between qualitative and quantitative research methods. The student engaged in mini-projects related to the local community, exploring issues like hygiene and unemployment, which fostered teamwork and communication skills. The ethics project highlighted the importance of ethical conduct in enhancing an individual's image and understanding ethical versus unethical actions. The globalization project assessed globalization's impact on Britain, identifying both positive and negative consequences. The research article analysis focused on differentiating between qualitative and quantitative research, providing insights into their applications and advantages/disadvantages, which would aid in choosing appropriate methods for job operations. The student also conducted interviews to assess knowledge and judgment, which would further develop employability.

Impact of Mini project over employability
Local community mini project:
While dealing with local community mini project, I found that there are various problems that
exist in that locality including hygiene, unemployment and various other. I also seen that how the
people belong to that locality deals with those problems. I saw the real team work there during
the occurrence of any problem. Thus, the local community project helps me a lot in the
generation of employability because through that project I learned the quality of team spirit or
teamwork along with the learning of effective communication. I also learned the quality of
leadership while doing that project.
Mini project related to ethics along with impact of reading ethics articles:
While I pursue through the ethical project I learned the value of ethics in working along with its
importance. I learned that working and completion of work is not only enough, it is also equally
essential that the code of ethics should be followed while doing the work. Through this project I
realize the exact meaning and importance of ethics in workplace. I saw that ethics and
performing the work within ethical code will not only raise the image in the market but it also
enhances the personality of an individual (Kelchner, 2017). Also, when I read the articles on
ethics I come to know the exact difference between an ethical moves in comparison of unethical
moves. Those articles also taught me a new word which is justified and on the basis of it now it
would be very easy for me to differentiate between justify and non justify moves or actions.
Mini project regarding globalization:
While dealing with the mini project regarding globalization I got the chance to learn the qualities
of a global citizen. A global citizen is that individual who have all the knowledge regarding his
own place along with the other places of the world. A global citizen is that individual who
usually take part in every activity and try to work with all in order to make the world more better
(Burlacu, Gutu and Matei, 2018). Thus, this project also gave me the chance to analyse that how
globalization impacted over Britain. I saw that on the one side it raises the level of education,
technological advancement, competition, capital flow, employment opportunities in Britain while
on the other side it raises the environmental pollution, global warming, migration of people,
along with affecting the culture and putting adverse economic effect over the economy.
Article regarding research:

While reading article regarding research I analyse the major difference between qualitative and
quantitative research. Apart from the fact that qualitative research deals with non numeric terms
and quantitative research deals with numeric terms (Goertzen, 2017). I also analyse that
quantitative research is only related with statistical data and systematic analysis on the other
hand qualitative research deals with getting an in-depth knowledge or experience about the study
(Bansal, Smith and Vaara, 2018). This could help me a lot in increasing my employability
because this study enables me to differentiate as well as choose the appropriate methods while
pursuing job operations.

Misinterpretation.
Chances of selection of false number.
Advantages of qualitative research:
Detailed research.
In-depth knowledge creation.

Time consuming.
Costly.

What are your strength?
What are your weakness?
How do you manage your work in case of running time?
How could you complete the work with minimum cost?
Which approach you follow while working?
While taking interview of the students it raises my knowledge level along with judging power
which could prove to be very helpful in developing my employability.
