This report addresses the information system challenges faced by Fibre Fashion, an Australian wholesale fashion industry participant. The study identifies issues stemming from inefficient data management, particularly the reliance on spreadsheets for sales and marketing data. A literature review explores the limitations of spreadsheets, including human error, lack of scalability, and vulnerability to fraud. The report recommends implementing a Value Chain Analysis (VCA) and an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enhance data management, improve customer relationship management, and streamline business processes. The proposed solution aims to improve the overall functionality of Fibre Fashion, enabling better performance in marketing and sales and helping the company adapt to evolving customer demands, as well as improve the decision making process. The research question that the report will solve is: What issues are faced by the organization with current system? How the implementation of new information system will resolve the issue?
