BACKGROUND AND CURRENT PRACTICE
The unmatched increase in the growth of the ICT systems in the modern era with the
technological innovations in the fields of computer software as well as hardware and
microelectronics has put an effective and enhanced growth across all organizations.
Therefore, the complexity in the functional units of the business is also increasing day by day
and this requires much more flow of the inter-functional data, which is required for decision-
making, the efficient and timely execution of the parts of a product, the inventory
management, human resources, accountability as well as distribution of the services and
goods. For these reason the management of ABC Corporation needs much more efficient
systems in the ICT to cope with the competitiveness in the ICT industry with better logistics
as well as reduction in costs. Both the large and small to medium sized enterprises very well
identify that organizations achieve great rewards if they are capable for providing the right
solution to the right vulnerabilities at the right time.
In accordance to the present situation of ABC Corporation, the industry is looking
forward for the installation of the ERP systems in its ICT sector [1]. The ERP system or
broadly known as Enterprise Resource Planning Systems is said to be a coherent management
regarding the processes of business. This management can be done in a real-time basis and
can be moderated with the help of technology and software [2]. This planning software is
usually indicated as a software of business management that is used by an organization for
collecting, storing, managing as well as interpreting of the data from all business activities.
This system provides an integrated as well as continuous view of the interim processes of
business with the help of database management system. ERP systems can maintain a track of

the business resources such as raw materials, cash as well as capacity of production. The
main role of an ERP system is that it facilitates the flow of information among all the

The aim of this project is to enhance the business process management at the ABC
Corporation with the implementation of the ERP Systems.
The prime objectives of this project are stated as follows:
 To create an integrated system at ABC Corporation
 The operational works at ABC Corporation to be done in real time basis
 To maintain a common database, which will support all the possible applications in
the ICT environment
 To elaborate the integration of data in the ICT department of the ABC Corporation
 To deploy the data services including the cloud hosting or SaaS in the ICT sector of
ABC Corporation

The implementation of ERP system in the ICT sector of ABC Corporation will
require a span of approximately 6 months to 2 years.

visibility of the whole systems [4]. Moreover, the ERP systems can help the business
organisation to have a detailed analysis of the reports and planning in a real time basis, which
will help the organization to analyse its business capabilities.
The ERP Systems can help the organization in customizing the software according to
the business needs. The ABC Corporation will customize the software according to their flow
of data in the business. Therefore, the system could improve the efficiency of the business
with the reduction of the IT as well as training costs. This will reduce the effort and time for
the company to achieve their target [5]. Through the implementation of the ERP Systems, the
