Introduction
In the specific era of the big data, people are obtaining a number of advantages of the
technology of internet. It has been known that data possess a huge commercial value for all the
various providers of internet service. Here, it has been observed that there is a great complexity
in both the proper data analysis and the data application and there is also a great difficulty in
managing that data [1]. With the quick development of internet, people are leaving with a
number of various traces of data online each and every day. This will be actually providing
various criminals a huge opportunity towards the collection of information upon the internet and
then there will be conduction of various illegal cases as well like various frauds. The main aim of
this study is to know the process of dealing with various kinds of issues related to privacy in the
particular context of big data which is basically a huge urgent requirement for all the people.
Sources of Big data
The actual origin of the big data has been known to be obtained from the internet.
Various researchers have been able to create a number of models which are diversified based
upon the requirements of the business and after that a number of vectors which are meaningful
have been extracted depending upon the particular models for the purpose of searching various
way of dealing with several people in a number of separate roles. Big data can be properly
divided into three separate categories [2]. First one is the data obtained from people within the
procedure of utilising internet which will be including several pictures, videos as well as text.
Second one is the data which has been generated by several kinds of computer systems within
the particular course of several operations which is particularly in the form of various databases,
documents as well as smarter homes [3]. The last one is the data which has been obtained from
various objects which involves the data obtained during the specific kind of operation of several
kinds of devices which are digital.
Security challenges of big data
Risks related to privacy: While it has been observed that people are greatly enjoying the special
convenience or service which has been brought up by big data, they are even greatly

data is not at all well safeguarded for the data of user in the procedure of utilisation, it will be
directly threatening the user’s privacy as well as data security. As per several contents of

protection of privacy. In the specific era of big data, the security problems of the data of people
are not only issues which are traditional but are even based upon the research of the data of
people and also the prediction the state of the people which has been targeted.

be greatly explaining a number of problems to a particular extent, the data is a fact itself and the

people may get betrayed by the data. One thing can happen like the any criminal can be

data can be leading inevitably towards various results which will be erroneous. Some people may

advantageous for them that may be leading several people towards making several improper
judgements. It may also happen that information may get totally distorted in the particular

greatly essential.
Lack of the protection technology: It has been observed that there is a huge lack in the
technology of protection of the privacy of data [6]. At the similar period of time as that of the
information transfer because of weaker management of the information, lack of support which
will be technical, improper system of management and the huge vulnerability of the loss of
information, the utilisation of the data is not at all of large value and there is a huge reduction of
data as well. This will be definitely bringing in a number of various negative effects upon several
individuals, society as well as the business and this will be further resulting in a number of
various losses in economy.
Data security threats: From the specific era of that of the concept of big data and the huge
growth of internet, this particular kind of the environment of network will be making the
securing of data of mobile of the data terminals that are intelligent much more essential. Such
huge numbers of terminals of mobile will not only be occupying both the time as well as the

energy of various people but will even be greatly storing a lot of personal data within. At the
current times, people have been observed to facing a number of various kinds of serious
problems related to the big data security and have been thinking that big data is not at all safe [7].
The security of all the various terminals which are smart is also becoming a huge problem for
various users. All the various products which are smart are even hugely evolving from the recent
terminals which are smart to all kinds of smart homes [8]. Once the personal terminal of mobile
will be lost, it will definitely be bringing in a number of several problems to all the users of fully
smart home.
Security of big data
Totally supervising data in the social networks- The internet media which has been created
within the period of big data has totally become essential for sharing information interpersonally.
Establishment of the proper supervision of data is really very much essential [9]. First of all, it is
to be remembered that it is really very much essential to develop the proper management of data
and to protect the data of the network anonymously for the social media which is unspecified.
Secondly, there must be the proper conduction of the management of the information which is
social for particularly ensuring that the security of the personal information is not at all greatly
exploited by various kinds of criminals which may be causing a number of losses. For the
purpose of incrementing the awareness of the users of various precautions and for lowering the
filling of essential information, there is a great need for the awareness of self-prevention [10].
The government must be introducing a number of rules for the big data implementation as fast as
possible.
Improvement of the legal mechanism of privacy protection- With the particular development
of the society, people must be paying more and more attention towards privacy and various
countries must be paying a lot of attention for the protection of the rights of privacy of the
citizens. Several protection measures must be put forwarded for the data protection. If they will
be any leakage of data of any citizen then there is a requirement for bearing some kind of
responsibility which will be entirely legal. It has been noticed that there is a very few laws which
are capable of specifically protecting the information in the laws of the country [11]. Hence, for
the better protection of the big data security, the government must be properly establishing a

protection lay for the private information for the protection of the personal information of
various citizens.
Establishment of the Agency of privacy protection- There must be a proper establishment of
the agency of the privacy protection and by doing this there will be an effective monitoring of
the online behaviour of the people but will even be highly popularizing the specific law. It is
really very much essential to develop a privacy protection agency which will be a professional
one for safeguarding the affairs which will be greatly private.
Improvement of the awareness of the people- There is a huge requirements for the citizens to
properly adopt various alternations in the times and increment the literacy of data as well as the
awareness of data [12]. The awareness of data is actually properly directed at the particular
public which are general and must also be needing various citizens for realizing the fact that big
data is really very much essential.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that the specific advent of the particular period of big data is not only
offering a number of various essential opportunities for the progress but is also bringing it a
number of threats related to the security of information. For safeguarding the big data, there is
not only the need of huge number of technologies of information security but also a lot of
awareness of the protection of privacy of various citizens in the country are required to be greatly
strengthened for the implementation of the security of information.
