This chapter was based on the Information system and Business Process Management (BPM).
BPM provides various benefits to an organization in their business functions. A process manages all the
things in a proper manner. Most of the organization has used BPM for integrating all the processes in a
proper manner to improve the performance of the system. In addition, there are some basic needs of
business requirements, which should complete within the given deadline. Therefore, BPM has used to
manage various business functions in a proper manner. This is a process in which all the parameters
integrated at the same platform.
This report will analyze the article based on the various factors, which have used for the
identification of inefficient processes in the system. This report will discuss about the six-sigma analysis
to improve the performance of the system.
Review
The author has described about the role of BPM in an organization and its benefits in the
organization. It is the main topic of the article about how the sig sigma technique provides better results
in the improvement of performance. In addition, the author has explained about the sig sigma
techniques using case study, which has focused on the improvement of deficient processes in an
organization.
Sig Sigma techniques have included lean techniques to waste removal, which has added
significant value to a process improvement project. The author has improved the results of the basic
things using hybrid techniques. The chapter has described about the six-sigma techniques with other
techniques, which provide help in the error-proofing and other improvements. There are many issues in
process management, which can be solved using proper business process management.
This article has described about the waste removal techniques of lean, which is a good concept
for reducing waste from the various processes. In addition, there are some technical issues in many
information systems, which have created huge challenges in front of an organization.

Moreover, an organization can use lean six sigma techniques to reduce waste from various
business functions, which create value for the customers as well as for the particular organization, as the
cost of the product and service has reduced1.
Often, tools and strategies from Six Sigma, an orientation to mistakes proofing that originated in
the excellent movement of the 1980s, are borrowed for those tasks. In addition, this chapter defines
numerous Six Sigma strategies and suggests via a case examine how they can be used to improve poor
tactics. Besides, Six Sigma combined with lean waste removal techniques can upload giant prices to a
procedure development venture2.
Furthermore, many techniques can reduce the cost of the project using proper waste
management from various processes. In addition, cause analysis has provided help in the identification
of cost-effective business processes, which has increased the cost of the products and services.
Commercial enterprise manner management lacks an incorporated set of analysis strategies for putting
off unneeded manner steps, figuring out inefficient or ineffective process steps, or certainly determining
which method steps to consciousness on for improvement3.
There is some good source in this chapter, which provides knowledge about business processes
management and information systems management. In addition, this chapter has discussed about the
importance of information systems and information technology in the business. There are many good
impacts of information systems on the BPM and other business functions4.
The author has described about the important parts of BPM and it has included different
techniques for the improvement of business and its profit using the removal of waste and cost from the
various processes. Sometimes, additional features have increased the cost of the overall project.
Therefore, it is necessary to manage all the business processes using various techniques, such as lean,
six sigma, and many others5.
In addition, the Information system helps in the improvement of business processes, which
makes huge impact on the business processes of an organization. Therefore, business processes must
integrate all the functions in a proper manner to analyze them on critical basis. However, some
processes have required additional cost, as they have based on the business model of an organization
