Introduction
Mixed reality is identified as one of the most advanced technological mechanism that can
be used in both education and organisation. According to Lindgren et al. (2016) it can be defined
that mixed reality is a blend of physical and virtual worlds where real and technology generated
objects. The mixed method is very useful to create a realistic environment for the users where the
users can easily interact and navigate with both real and virtual objects.
Discussion
As per the research of Birt, Moore and Cowling (2017) with the help of mixed reality
students can manipulate objects with a great deal of skill that can bring in-depth understanding of
the purpose and the outcome of the process. In response to this, it can be stated that the role of
the mixed reality is to set the data and concepts of a specific theme and create a simplification of
the complex themes through the use of real and virtual world (Tang et al., 2020). Birt et al.
(2018) articulated that it is very useful for the students to get a practical experience of the theme
through mixed reality. Henceforth, it is useful and unique as the mixed reality education is more
effective than the verbal instructions of the teachers. Subsequently, the students feel highly
engaged with the mixed reality learning and education as it provides an elaborate understanding
of the theme through virtual implementation. However, Hauze and Marshall (2020) highlighted a
completely different perception regarding the efficacy of mixed reality in education. The
research pointed out that mixed reality not only helps the students to understand the theme
effectively but also facilitate a deep insight into the theme based on the merit and skills of the

also it is crucial for the business organisation to provide a demo practice and mechanism of the
new product and find out the potential risks that the customers can get in its primary stage
(Högberg et al., 2016). It seems highly important for the business organisations as the mixed
reality helps to reduce errors and potential risk threat that can create further obstacle to the
organisational practice (Aithal, 2016). In association to this, it is also pertinent for the business
organisation to nourish the innovative vision through the use of mixed reality. Therefore, it is
very important for the current business practices to use mixed reality as a tool for future success
and strategic advantage (Lee, Hope & Abdulghani, 2016).

Based on this understanding, it can be argued that both in education and organisation
mixed reality played a magnificent role to not only enhance the efficacy of the learning and
development but also create a futuristic vision and skill set for the students and the organisation
so that it can get competitive advantage.
