Today’s topic is Global media
I have analyzed that in the current scenario, the uses of global media and
communication have become one of the important topics for discussion. With the increasing
rate of technological development, social media and information have become an important
part of human life. In order to maintain the record of communication activities, I am
maintaining this diary in which I am maintaining the types of media I have used and the time
duration. I have started writing the communication diary because this will help me to analyse
which type of communication media I mostly use. In the first page, I have mentioned about
the timetable and events that I have done on that day. As I am fond of technology, therefore,
this can be said that I am very much active in the social networking site. Television is another
important part of my daily life. I mostly prefer the news channels as it helps me to gather the
information about my surroundings. Hence, this can be said that I spend lots of time with the
television. It cannot be denied that I love to listen to music. Therefore, long time in a day I
also spend time with the music. It can be from YouTube or television. As I am a friendly type
of person, therefore it can be said that I spend huge time on Instagram and facebook also. I
believe both the electronic and print media is being used by me. In the below table I have

In order to analyse the industry research, I have asked my friends. In the below tables I have
shown the view of my respondents about the preference of communication media. Most of
my friends have said that they prefer social Media. When I asked my friends about their
preferences, they said that like me they also prefer Facebook. Most of my friends have not
opened their Instagram account yet. I believe, within few days they will open their Instagram
account. Popularity of YouTube among my friends is quite higher. They said they are fond of
YouTube. Like me most of my friends serf internet in their free times.

I have identified that a large number of my friends have agreed that they prefer
facebook rather than other communication media. I can’t deny that in our generation
facebook has become an important communication medium. By comparing with the other
electronic media, Youtube and Instagram users are also higher. I have compared the ratio of
television users are low. On the other hand, it is also true that the rate of printing media uses
is being analysed, it will be identified that in the current situation near about half of the
population do not prefer the print media. Comparing these results with my analysis, I have
identified that in the case of Facebook uses, my friends have agreed with me, however in the
case of television, the result is little different.
