Skills audit can be described as a systematic evaluation of research capabilities and
knowledge of student at university level (Armitage, 2018). This is beneficial as it assists in
providing evidence or proof of an existing as well as developing competencies. It is performed to
assess the need of an individual of training and development. Skill audit have aim to identify
existing skills set as well as knowledge that is needed to perform effectively at university level or
in organisation. It is essentially helpful for organisations and professors to develop training
sessions for individuals who posses a specific skill in order to male it perfect. It assists an
organisation in articulating capabilities of team members in order to respond with specified
business demands. It also help an organisation in ensuring training needs of individuals.
SKILL ANALYSIS
Time management skills are concerned with managing and prioritizing activities of
individuals which aids them to organize their time in a rational and effective manner (Plant,
Barac, and Sarens, 2019). This skill is important for students as it aids them in gaining grater
productivity and provide more opportunities to them so that they can prioritize their activities
effectively. I am average in this skill as I am very lazy with my work and many a time unable to
fulfil my responsibilities on time. I am trying to improve this skill by scheduling my tasks and
deadlines in a rational manner as well as try to to work on decided time. I will set time and task
as remainders in my cell phone which will help me to remember what should I need to do.
Teamwork skills can be described as a set of interrelated capabilities that helps
individuals in attaining co-operation and co-ordination which further helps in accomplishing
common group goals. These skills are important for students as it assists them in making and
retaining strong relationship with their team members that helps to gain specified co-operation
among them. I am pretty good in teamwork skills as I can efficiently perform group assignments
in my university. I will maintain this skill in me by participating in group tasks and complete it
on time with the co-operation of my team members. I am very enthusiastic and have positive
mindset which helps me to build long lasting relationship with my peers. This skills are
improved by me through attending seminars on team work skills.

Presentation skills can be explained as an activity of delivering point of views or
opinions to number of people in an effective way (Karamavrova, and Lebedynets, 2018). It is
important for students in thinking and creating innovative ideas in order to make their
presentation slides beautiful and illustrative. I am very good in presentation skill and get good
grades in my university assignments. This can be improved by students by more practising and
give time to themselves. Many a times, students gets afraid when they have to give presentations.
It is important to be confident and speak without nervousness while presenting a topic in
classroom at university. For improving my presentation skills I will attend seminars where
experts giving this and learn from them. In order to proper presentation, I will make notes of
what I intended to speak in front of people.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay, it has been concluded that skill audit is very significant for
university professors as it helps to prepare their lessons in an effective manner. Presentation
skills are concerned with presenting opinions or lessons through the use of slides and projectors.
Teamwork skills are used significant for students to perform group tasks in an effective manner.
In order to manage time, individuals should prioritize their activities and can use stopwatches.
