History and research on Winston Churchill
Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born on 30th November, 1874 till 24th
January, 1965. He was a British statesman who served as the Prime Minister of UK during the
Second World War. He was best known for the leadership which he presented during the
wartime along with this Winston was also a Noble Prize winning writer, painter, historian and
the long served politician in the British History (Scadding and et.al., 2018). Being a writer,
Churchill had framed many of his works which helped in becoming more inclined towards his
prosperous work through which his work was being presented before the world and this helped
him in making him more famous and knowledgeable towards his work which described his
effectiveness in being a writer.

There is one of the important information which depicts that Churchill was also into
delivering into effective speeches among which one of his famous speeches is – “We Shall
Fight on the Beaches”. This speech was framed by Churchill during the World War II when
Britain was under the threat of invasion. Along with this, “This was their Finest Hour” was also
shouted in this speech which made clear the perspectives which Churchill wanted to depict or
provide to the people during that time (Churchill and et.al., 2020). Other than this, his most
quoted and well known speeches are – Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat.

Churchill in his speeches used emotive language, powerful imager and metaphor
which helped him in knowing the basic and major effects of the words which will impact the
public and will last forever in their minds to act in favour of them (FOX, 2019). Due to such
strong speeches, Churchill strengthened the problems and various other issues which the
country was facing during that time. This also helped him in knowing his audience through
which the value of being such an effective leader was known. Churchill in a press conference
also said that “It has been said words are the only things which lasts forever”. This was denoted
by him by mentioning the importance of words which lasts forever during the whole lifetime.
As Churchill also was into military services, he also inspected the Parliamentary Home Guard.

As Winston led Britain during the World War II, it made him famous for his
contribution during the war. Through this, Churchill also became then famous due to the
speeches and this made him greatest Briton of all times and famous Prime Minister. Churchill
served the society and his country the best he could serve for and this helped the citizens of UK
to cherish forever to all the lessons and support Churchill provided them at large scale and
going out of the boundaries (Ross, 2021).

the citizens which played major role in contributing to the society, Churchill helped in
maintaining the class and dignity of himself also by framing the scale of what are the things

Churchill has also been honoured with various awards and prizes throughout his
career by being a British Army Officer, Statesman and Author. Ten awards were being served to
him for delivering the active service by being British Army Officer (Shakespeare, 2017). There
was greater number of awards which were given to him for recognition of his services which
were being delivered at large scale to the citizens of UK.

Churchill also married Clementine Ogilvy Hozier. The couple owned five children
together which made clear that how much he was devoted to his family. Churchill also made
many controversies which helped him in knowing that what are the aspects which made him
change his patterns. This is the major thing which helped in knowing what are the aspects of
living a life as a prime Minister. The speeches he delivered also became very effective when he
came to know that the speeches made the public gain their attention towards what was being

are maintained. Churchill died from a severe stroke in London which created big news at that
time and this distracted all the people who were engaged in the accounting of Winston
(Glueckstein, 2021). The main reason due to which all the things changed were due to the
death of the Prime Minister and this made the very huge impact upon the society at large scale.
Also due to some fragile health signs he was unwell and this made him weak in his nerves due
to which he suffered from heart attack. Therefore, throughout his life, Churchill devoted his all
important forms from being a Prime Minister to writer (Misior-Mroczkowska, 2018).
