Project Management is Plan is a written structured document which describes ways in
which research project is implemented, monitored and controlled. This plan helps in conducting
research in an effective and efficient way(Yismalet and Alemu, 2018).
Cost- Cost is an essential element without this a research is not conducted. Fund is
required in the process of data collection and analysis. Various resources are used in research and
for the use of those resources researchers are required to pay money. Researcher prepare a
detailed budget of expenses before conducting the research. In this research project researcher
allocate cost for different resources. This plan helps researcher in carrying out research with a
minimum cost. In this research project researcher estimate a cost of £2500.
Quality- Quality Management plan benefits researcher in collecting accurate and reliable
information. In this research project all the collected data are accurate, reliable and feasible.

Further, researcher check accuracy and reliability of data on a timely basis to manage quality of
information.
Communication- In this project communication play a vital role because for primary data
collection researcher needs to communicate with respondents. Further, communication is also
required for each stage with the purpose of knowing views and ideas of experienced individuals.
Thus, communication plan is also managed in this research report(Xu, Ye and Chan, 2018).

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Methodology is structured process through which a researcher can conduct a
research and abstract important information related to a particular topic in an effective and
efficient manner. Various stages of research methodology used in this research project are
discussed below-
Research Methods- Research Methods are used in research project to analyse and gather
data & information related to a task. Two types of research methods are used for data collection
such as Quantitative Method and Qualitative Method. In Qualitative Research Method numerical
data are collected in the for of statistics. This method helps in identifying different variable such
as behaviour, opinion and attitude. Whereas Qualitative Research Method is applied to collect
non-numeric data which helps in developing ideas and hypothesis(Kumar, 2019).
In this research project both Qualitative & Quantitative Research methods are applied by
researcher to collect information related to impact of globalisation on multinational companies.
Research Approach- Research Approach is an activity which helps in developing
assumptions in the process of data collection & interpretation. Research Approaches are of three
types Inductive Approach, Deductive Approach and Abductive Approach. Deductive Approach
helps researcher in formulating hypothesis. Whereas in Inductive Approach formulate Aims &
Objective and Abductive Approach benefit researcher in completing incomplete Research and
Puzzles.

In this research project Inductive Approach is used in which researcher form Aims &
Objectives to resolve various issues of globalisation.
Research Design- There are two types of research design under research methodology.
Descriptive Research Design is a method which describes characteristics of a particular topic.
Whereas Experimental Research Design is applied with the purpose experimenting cause and
affects of different issues emerging in a particular task.
This research includes Descriptive Research Design to know characteristics & factors of
globalisation.
Research Philosophy- Research Philosophy describes beliefs and attitude through which
information on a particular topic is collected. Positivism and Interpretivism are two methods of
research philosophy. According to the Positivism Philosophy collected data are factual and
quantifiable. On the other hand, Interpretivism Philosophy includes general information which
helps researcher in generating ideas(Hirst, Thompson and Bromley, 2015).
Positivism Philosophy is used in this research project which helps in gathering factual
knowledge about globalisation.
Research Sampling- Sampling is a process in which a sample size is collected from large
number of population to collect the data. Probabilistic & Non- Probabilistic Sampling methods
are used under Research Methodology. In probabilistic sampling a random sample is selected
while in non-probabilistic sampling sample size is selected on the basis of judgements of
researcher.
While conducting this research probabilistic sampling is collected by researcher in which
is a sample is selected of 20 managers of Marks & Spencer.
Data Collection- Data collection is a process of gathering information related to research
topic. Data can be collected through two sources such as Primary & Secondary. In Primary
Method data are collected at the first whereas in secondary method data are collected fro the past
data or already collected data.
Primary Data Collection Method is implemented in this research project according to
which data related to glocalisation are collected by conducting survey and Questionnaire.

Data Analysis- Data analysis is an activity through which gathered information are
analysed and interpreted. Qualitative & Quantitative are two methods of data analysis. In
Qualitative method analysis is done on non-numerical data whereas ion Quantitative numeric
data are analysed & evaluated(Flick, 2015).
Both the methods are used in this research Qualitative is done by using thematic analysis
in which research analyse data with the help of tables and graphs. On the other, SPSS and
Spreadsheets are used in analysis under Quantitative data analysis.
Ethical Consideration- This research is conducted by following all the necessary
guidelines. All the information collected by considering ethics and emotions of participants.
Further, data is gathered by taking consent of participants no participant is forced to give any
information. All the collected information is adequate and transparent. Assurance is given to
respondents related to privacy protection before collecting the data.
DATA ANALYSIS
Data analysis is a process of analysing and interpreting collected data with the help of
quantitative and qualitative method. The below analysed data are analysed through quantitative
methods with the helps of SPSS and Spreadsheet(Fletcher, 2017).
