The report is based on Sunshine 100 Brisbane based organisation and they are specialized in
responsible foods with R & D offices in different countries. The management of the firm are
manage all the people who are geographically spread in different nations. in this, team leader
are try to communicate with their team members through telephonic conference meeting
where they are discussed on the agenda. The main purpose of the report is to understand the
cultural and other issues with developing multicultural virtual teams. In this, Jane is
announcing the first telephone conference call to their team members for discussing about
their agenda.

telephone conference call
Hi Colleagues,
I informed you all that Sunshine 100 are announcing its First Telephone Conference call
which help in communicating with different clients who are live in another country. The
main motive of this meeting is to discuss about the benefits of this Telephone conference call
which assist in interacting with different team members. This system helps company in easily
conduct cross communication in limited time period from any person at any time.
This is compulsory to you all that you require attending the meeting on time at 12 PM in
Cape Town (Tuesday). All should be on time for this meeting.

functions in international market place. In an organisation, there are various individuals who
are belongs to different countries and religions so the team leader need to communicate with
them effectively (Holtrop, et. al., 2018, pp. 615). The role of organisation culture should be
in shaping the communication procedure in order to interact with individual in better manner.
At the time of meeting, Jane needs to focus on each team member communication style
which is different who are belonging to other nationality. When they are concentrate on
understanding the difference between different cultures so this will help in making easy to
interact with different people (Marianne Wolff Lundholt, 2012, pp. 9).
The company needs to study and understand about the different social and cultural values and
compare with other country (Merkin, 2012, pp. 110). The culture of South Africa is flexible
so they can easily communicate with their team member whether they are available from
other country. The environment of the South Africa is harmony where all the people are
survive their life with peace. Risk avoiding culture is adopted by company so they can easily
eliminate major issues which are creating problem while leader communicate with their

interpersonal skills can be used for identifying the communication abilities which is helpful
for both individual and team interactions (Croucher, et. al., 2014, pp. 2425). It is the quality
and behaviour of an individual where an individual use to communicate with others in better
manner. In the business, this term refer as the employees’ ability and competencies in which
they are performing their job for reach with desired goals and targets.
On the other hand, team effectiveness is that competency which has ability to understand and
evaluate the team goals, rules, norms and regulations in better manner. In this, they need to
maintain and display the patience level which helps them in performing work in given time.

4) Evaluate the key task and process issues to be addressed in the new team to minimize
future problems and conflict
There are various key task issues which are addressed in the new team which reduces the
future problems and conflicts effectively. Leader should focus on team leaders which help in
eliminating the task issue. In this, team leaders’ role is to distribute each task in equal manner
which maintain coordinate and balance among various members. The members are
performing their task within given time period so this will enhance their growth and
development. The major rules of “team together” are that members should work together for
reach with common goal and objectives. “Team apart” is that where all team members are
performing their task as an individual and they are gain benefit in single manner (Haverfield,
et. al., 2018, pp. 1376).
On the other hand, process issues to be addressed in the multi-cultural team which
eliminating the future conflicts and issues such as role of language. This is one of the major
aspects which help team leader is to reduction in arising conflicts. For this, they need to
