Background
The concerned case study is reflecting the experience of a CEO in one of the leading banks of
Australia. In the organization, the task of the CEO was to lead the subordinates and assign a task
to them. They were likewise asked to supervise the team members for maintaining efficiency in
the organization. Being the head of HR executives and other managers, the task and duties of a
CEO were not restricted to recruitment and selection of employees, business decision making
and so forth. Aside to this, their primary role is to manage the workforce or team in the
organization.
The financial industry is one of the uncertain industries and is aligned with a number of risk
factors. It was extremely essential for them to manage the workforce in such a manner that they
will be able to adopt changes in the organization. This factor will likewise help them in
scrutinizing the skills and expertise of their teammates. The employees working under their
supervision perform different activities in the different departments of the organization. It was
their duty to manage and supervise their activities. They always make actions in putting their
efforts in the path of success of the organization. In the respective firm, their job was to manage
a team of five effective employees. They are the top level leaders of the organization and manage
different departments of the association. Their name and designation are stated below:

All the members of the team or the employees that work under the guidance of CEO are working
for a special position in the organization. With the help of their support, the organization is able
to perform well in the market. The success of the subordinates somehow depends on the
management skills of the CEO. They have tried to assign them the duties as per their skills and
expertise. They likewise have tried to maintain an effective communication network in the
organization so that an effective business environment can be maintained in the organization.
Some of the specified duties as per the expertise of the subordinates are:
John Anderson: He leads the task related to retail banking. He tries to invite initiatives from
his subordinates and likewise try to maintain flexibility in the operations. Under his
leadership, the organization is able to enhance its retail related activities effectively.
Emily Parker: She is the leader or manager of the loan department. Her duty is to motivate
the subordinates in order to enhance the number of lenders and borrowers of the firm. This
will help the firm in maintaining the cash flow in the organization. Her effective motivating
and inspiring skills have helped in enhancing the capital structure of the organization.
Jenifer Winger: She is the manager of the wealth management department. Her duty is to
control the total inflow and outflow of money in the organization and initiate activities to
maximize profit. She is likewise responsible for marinating the accounts and the budget of
the organization. She pursues effective accounting, financing and controlling and hence she
is perfect for this position.
James Stuart: He is the HR manager of the respective organization. He pursues
extraordinary managing, leadership and communication skills. His duties are to recruit and
select the most effective staff for the organization. Aside to this he likewise undertakes the
task related to training and development of new joiners.
Amanda Carnie: She is the assistant manager of the online banking department. Her duty is
to supervise the employees managing the official webpage of the company (Imola Drigă &
Claudia Isac 2014 pp 50). She makes sure that the consumers undertaking online truncations

As per this technically upgraded era, it is known that the use of digital platforms is increasing.
Looking forward to this perspective it is assumed that the tasks performed by Amanda Carnie are
crucial for the growth of the organization (Rao et. al., 2017, pp 12). But she has to face some
serious issues related to communication in the organization. For performing her work effectively
it is essential for her to maintain an effective communication network in the organization, with
her juniors and her seniors. This will help her in maintaining the adequacy of her activities.
Last month due to failure in the communication network she was unable to maintain efficiency in
the operations handled by her. The communication networks were hampered due to frequent
disputes in the organization. The employees were not satisfied with the policies of the company
and are not cooperating with the firm effectively. Due to lack of motivation among employees,
the communication system was totally hampered and the organization is losing its productivity.
The official webpage of the company is facing frequent crashes and Amanda was not able to do
anything about it. She tried to analyze the situation in order to investigate the real problem of the
situation. With investigation, she was able to analyse that the employees are not happy with their
salary and the working time interval as mentioned in the policy of the company. Dissatisfaction
among the employees is increasing the complexities related to communication. The managers are
confused and the situation of the dispute has created chaos in the organization (Gomes, et. al.,

policies that can help to increase the feeling of satisfaction among the employees. James is a
multi-talented manager and a good motivator. He tried to hold a couple of meetings in the

was able to analyze that with the help of monetary benefits the company will be able to gain back
the trust of its employees. This will likewise help in motivating them and promoting them to

of James. Lack of communication and interaction among both the identities could have
hampered the situation of the organization. If Amanda would have not trusted James than she
would not be able to solve the situation in such an effective manner.
Being the HR executive of the company James was able to evaluate the behavior and
perspectives of the employees in a more justified manner. He was likewise able to evolve
sound motivation strategies that can help in motivating and promoting the will of the
employees. All of the concerned skills helped him in resolving the situation and enhancing
the level of communication in the organization.
With regards to this scenario, it can be said that an effective professional relationship and
sound organizational behavior can help the managers in resolving the major concerns of the
organization.

benefits to them. This plan helped in resolving the communication-related issues of the
