1.1 Brief description of the organization
The paper mainly reflects on the development of a mobile application for “African Style
Haircut shop” which is mainly located in 126B Henley Beach Road, Torrrensville, in Australia.
It is found that shop helps in providing high quality of hair cutting services to the people. The
services that are provided by well trained workers in proper ambience helps in providing proper
hair cutting and facial experience to the people of Australia.
1.2 Project objectives and importance of project
Project objectives
The objectives are:
 To develop a mobile application for the African Style Haircut shop
 To attract a large number of customers for flourishing the business and for gaining
profitability
 To provide speedy and quick customer service
Importance of the project
It is found that “African style Haircut Shop” wants to flourish its business in the
Australian market by attracting a large number of customers and therefore the shop aims to build
a mobile app for the business. A mobile app generally helps in allowing the business to properly
communicate with the customers and thus further helps in increasing the loyalty of the
customers. In addition to this, with the help of the app, the customers can check the status of the
shop, its location, services it provides and can use it for online booking in order to save time in

their busy schedule. Furthermore, the app also helps in providing chat support system for
resolving the queries of the customers and for providing important information about the services
that they deliver. As today’s generation is extremely obsessed with speed as well as quick
customer service therefore development of mobile app is an important option before the store for

1.3 Justification that reflects that the project fulfils the criteria to be classified as project
It is found that development of mobile application is considered as a project. This is
because a project generally has a single as definable purpose which is mainly specified in terms
of cost as well as performance requirements. Similarly, development of mobile app is a project
which is mainly helpful in improving the business as well as customer service related with the
African style Haircut Shop. Furthermore, it is analyzed that project must have temporal activities
and it is properly showcased during the development of app as after the app gets developed, the
project will be closed and the resources will be released. Furthermore, the characteristics of
project also reflects that it helps in cutting across different organizational lines and it is also done
during the development of mobile app as they generally need to draw skills as well as talents. All
