INTRODUCTION
Marketing is a function which is involved in managing the operations and activities for
promoting and advertising products and service of the company (Scarborough, 2016). This is
very important for the organisation that marketing operations are done properly in order to attain
the organisational goals. It is essential that all the work related to the marketing of products and
services should be done in proper manner. The following report is based on market segmentation
of the new mobile app. There is explanation of marketing mix. Gantt chart is given for the
development of this new mobile app made for tourists.
Market segmentation
Marketing is defined as the function used for managing the operations and activities of the
business. The concept of marketing includes advertising and promoting the product or service.
The aspect of STP is known as segmentation, targeting and positioning of the product (Smith,
2014). The STP approach in context of the new mobile app is mentioned below -
STP Approach- The full form of STP is segmentation, targeting and positioning of
