Summary of the Lecture
The objectives of this week’s lecture were to connect to the Internet with the help of
HTTP, to utilize XML web services, to utilize Jason web services and to connect to a socket
server. The utilization of HTTP web services is extremely important and even the binary data
needs to be downloaded. For downloading an image, the synchronous Download Image() method
should be used. The Web Services can be accessed easily with the help of GET query. A Word
Definition(String) method should be created for this accessing of We services. The
newInstance() method should be utilized.
