Summary of the Lecture
The objectives of this lecture were to send and receive the SMS messages
programmatically, to utilize the built in messaging application in the app and send emails from
the applications. For sending messages programmatically, at first the <uses-permission
android:name=“android.permissions.SEND_SMS”/> needs to be perfect. An instance is to be
created of the SmS Manager class. For receiving the messages programmatically, <uses-
permission android:name=“android.permissions.RECEIVE_SMS”/> should be set perfectly.
Moreover, the activities can be updated easily.
