1. Mobile application development project plays a crucial role as this will be weight-loss
mobile application. With the help of this application it will become easy to stay fit.
The basic features associated with the mobile application needs to be included
properly. The main activities that are associated with mobile application development
project are listed below:
 Identifying the key requirement: The main features and need of the project needs
to be analyzed at first.
 Setting up team: Team members will be identified for the purpose of successfully
executing the project.
 Preparing the effective action plan: It is important to enlist the essential features
and the platform, on which the mobile application will be developed.
 Evaluating the system guidelines for managing the application: Before developing
the system it becomes essential to manage the application and the requirements
effectively.
 Analyzing the requirements from the client: It is important for the project team
members to analyze the requirements from the client. Once the requirement is
analyzed properly it becomes easy to work upon the requirements.
 Working effectively towards the development phase: The development must be
carried out after performing proper evaluation. It is important to ensure that every
team members are working efficiently towards the main objective.
2. Agile project management method is most suitable for developing a mobile based
application. Agile methodology is suitable as this provides an effective way of
executing the design in stepwise manner (Rasnacis & Berzisa, 2017). the main

 Reduces the overall risks
 Offers better quality as after every maintenance feedback from client is
evaluated

4. Agile project management methodology is selected for developing the mobile
application. As a part of scrum team, the best suitable role is the role of a designer
from the development team. The main reason behind working as a designer is to
provide suitable interface design towards the application (Flora, 2018). Designer is
responsible for managing all the essential artifacts within the mobile application
development. The design will be executed in phases after gaining approval from the
client. This will ensure that proper system has been developed.
5. As a start- up company it becomes essential to ensure that proper budget is
maintained for developing the application. The main risk that arises is with the budget
maintenance (Weimar et al., 2017). While launching the product on iOS and android
based application it becomes essential to manage the cost of development. However

development cost becomes very difficult to manage. Hence it can be stated that, the
development cost is the main risk in the development of mobile application.
Risk mitigation: In order to mitigate the risks it becomes essential to develop proper
approach. The budget needs to be fixed at early stage so that it does not hamper the
production ratio. Moreover it is important to launch the product at android phase so
that it becomes easy to evaluate the market value of the product. Once the product
gains profit, than it should be launched on iOS platform.
6. Team work plays a crucial role and thus it becomes essential to ensure that the key
objective is maintained effectively. The three key team factors that are responsible for
successful execution of a project are proper communication, easy conflict
management and contribution.
 Proper communication: with proper communication skills it becomes easy to
convey the major findings between the team members. Every team member
must be capable of producing proper results for achieving the target.
 Easy conflict management: The conflict management is one of the efficient
skills that are needed to be present within the team members (Santos et al.,
2016). This will ensure that every member is capable of handling crucial
situation.
 Contribution: The contribution from team members needs to be expended
properly so that they can manage all the technical work efficiently.
The factor that could lead to bad team work is inefficiency and dishonesty. It is
important for every team member to work efficiently for achieving the target
(Talman, 2018). However it has been observed at times that, certain people tends

to work with more leniencies. This leads to failure of project. In addition to this it
is important to ensure that every member should appreciate the efforts made by
other coworkers. This will enhance the performance and will ensure that the
project objective is fulfilled.
