Introduction
With an experience of more than thirty years, the primary aim of Globex is to assist the
farmers of the Riverina region for increasing the crop productivity and reducing the cost and
time required for the same. The agricultural business of Globex aims at serving the farmers with
various technological innovations and products. Currently Globex has equipped various new
technologies and provides training to the experts at Wagga Wagga, Albury and Griffith. The
Precision Faming is one of the major products of Globex that aims at enhancing the farming
efficiency and productivity. This particular report aims at determining the project teams and
members associated with the development of a mobile based application system that would help
the famers of the Riverina region to increase their productivity with low cost.

1.3 Project overview
With the development of the two major products in market namely Precision Framing
and the Farm Equipments, Globex Corporation have extensively invested towards the
development and support of the farmers in the Riverina Region. Their new plan is to provide
support and extensive training to the farmers for preparing for the future with the help of wide
range of technologies. Further to increase the support for the Riverina farmer, Globex has
initiated a project MBFSA for the development of mobile application. For this purpose, Globex
have collaborated with Virtucon for the development of the mobile application. In order to start

with the project the teams and representative of Virtucon has contacted the Riverina farmers for
conducting a preliminary study to identify the requirement and demands of crops based on
different geographical areas in the region.
1.4. Project description
This particular project aims at developing a mobile application that will be easy to use for
the framers and would help them in improving the productivity and performance of the crops. In
addition to that, the application will also assist in making future decision based on the demand
prediction in various regions. The mobile application, the framers would be able to track and
gain insight regarding the different information including the quantity and quality of products to
grow. Further, the application will also help in to get contact with the different wholesaler to sell
their crops. Through the application the farers and the wholesaler would able to log in, register
and enter their information to find the appropriate buyer and seller of grains. The wholesalers
will be further categorised in terms of geographic regions that would help the farmers to
understand the demand of crops in a particular region.
1.5 Team charter:
The proper development of a team charter helps the project team associated with the
MBFSA project to establish their boundaries and define the direction. The below team charter
defined the specific responsibilities, skill sets and communication mode that needs to be
followed for the successful implementation and launch of MBFSA.

Tristan Doyne The coder and tester of the MBFSA has the
responsibility of properly developing the mobile
application that would enable the farmers to
properly register, update, input the information. In
addition to that this will also enable the users to
successfully access the crops, season, quantity and
demand for enhancing the farming.
Hayden Gardner The trainer for the Virtucon has the responsibility of
training the farmers and the new users of the mobile
application to use and add data in the system.
Dylan Reynolds The market analysis involved with MBFSA have
the responsibility of evaluating and analysing the
market demand for the crops. Further, the market
analysis helps in providing the future trends in
demands of particular crops based on various
location.

for the project. In addition to that, he has the

Part 4: Reflection
4.1 Reflection
The project for developing the mobile application of the Riverina framers has assisted me in
understanding the need of the customers ad how t incorporate them within the project. I believe
the major factors that is essential for successful completion of the project is the ability of the
project manager to effectively lead the project in correct direction. Through this project, I was
able to identify the different skill set essential for the development of the project. In addition to
that, I have successfully identified and assigned different roles and responsibilities of the team
members. Further, the communication plan developed by me has assisted the project team to
maintain a proper channel of sharing information and ensured that all the important information
are communicated with the right stakeholder at the right time. Further, the project required to be
completed within the time frame of 6 months. I have applied my knowledge project management
and leadership for successfully plan the development and managing the entire project team. In
addition to that, the development of the mobile application required the acute knowledge of the
various technologies that needs to be incorporated within the application of data integration and
collaborating geographic data. Furthermore, I have followed professionalism and code of ethics
while dealing with various sensible information that has enable me in maintaining integrity
throughout he project. I have further made several meetings with the team members to
understand their issues and resolving their problems for successful and timely completion of the
project. I have further divided the roles of the team members on the basis of scribe and organizer
that have helped the entire project in maintaining and documenting the information that are being
shared during the meeting.
Conclusion
The above report helps in identifying the need and overall idea about the MBFSA project.
The report further identified the different team members who are associated with the project and
their responsibilities in developing the proposed MBFSA project. In addition to that, the
development of the communication plan between the major stakeholders within the MBFSA
project has shed significant light to the flow of information that needs to be carried out for the
successful completion of the mobile application.
