farmer support application by Globex Corporation. This new software will be aiming to help
the farmers to improve their productivity of crops, the new software is also meant to reduce
the costs in farming which is a big concern for the farmers.
Description of this software development project
This project will be having numerous stakeholders associated with them like the
representative of Globex, farmers, whole sellers, software designers, software developers,
government officials and business analyst. Each of the stakeholders of this project must be
working very hard and maintain the project scheduling which will be proposed in the lower
sections of the paper. The following unit of the paper will be discussing the area of impact of
this project.
Part 1: Measurable Organizational Value
Identification of area of the impact
The area of impact due to the development of the new software for the farmers will be
discussed in the below in a detailed manner.
Area of impact Description
Impact on

significantly improved after the use of this new mobile based farmer support application.
Productivity of each geographical area can be significantly improved using the new mobile
based farmer support application. All the registered wholesalers and markets in each
geographical area can be very much benefitted after the use of this new software application.
It must be also said that the farmers should be readily accepting the new software as it will
eventually help them on a long term basis.
Out of scope
The use of this new software will be needing a professional training for the farmers as
they would not know how to use the new the new software applications. Installation of the
new software must be compatible with the farmers of each geographical area. The raw data
from which will be collected by Globex Corporation from the farmers should be very much
helpful for the software designers and the software developers.
Scope Management of this project
Resource management procedure must be followed in both the first phase of this
project where the prototype will be building in 2 months and the final phase of the project
which is approximately 4 months after the completion of the first phase. Time required for
each phase of the project should be managed in an organized manner so that each phase of
this project is completed in time.
Scope management plan of this project
The above discussed scope of this project has to be managed in an organized manner
using the time scheduling and resource management techniques. Co-ordination between each
of the stakeholders of this project is very much necessary to finish the software development
project with in the 6 months. The scope of this project must be address the farming issues.

Deliverables
Different phases of this project Deliverables of the project phase wise
Requirement gathering of this project The business obligation must be extracted from the
raw data.
Planning and design phase of the
software
The new software must be compatible with the mobile
devices of the farmers. The project charter must be
verified by the project manager. Risk and resource
management are the two main deliverable of the
development phase of this software development
project. The non-functional as well as the functional
requirement of this project must be clear to both the
designers of this project as well as the developers of
the project.
Physical design of this project
The programming logic as well as the work flow of
this the design phase of this software development
project must be defined in an organized manner.
Deployment phase of the project
This phase is the second last phase of this project. The
end product which is the software must be tested using
the unit testing procedures. Most of the software
errors bugs can be identified in the unit testing
procedure of this software development project.
Closing phase
All the different types of stakeholders which will be
hired for this project such as the system designers,
testing manager, software engineer, system designer,
and risk analyser based on contractual basis must be
released after payment has been done.

Assumption which are made for this project: Both the external stakeholders of this
new software development project must be hired on a contractual manner do that the efficiency
of stakeholders must be retained throughout this project.
Constraint of this software development project: There are lots of constraints
associated with this new software development project staring from the collection of the raw
materials from the farmers which are need for the designing team of this software. The other
constraints of this project is the availability of the software testers and software developers.

Part 5: Quality Management Plan of this project
Philosophy of the team member of this project
The team member of this project will be aiming to develop a mobile based farmer support
application to help the farmers to take most of the farming decision and enhance their
productivity. The entire project must be completed within the estimated time and budget provide
to them in the first place.
Ensuring the quality of the software
Activity validation
Budget scheduling of this project must be continuous, continuous monitoring process can
also be very much helpful so that a use friendly software is developed
Activity verification
The quality of service of this new software can be obtained in the unit testing procedure
after the end of the developmental phase.
Part 6: Closure and Evaluation phase
Tasks Checklist
Evaluation of the data collected from the
farmers

Co-ordination between the farmers and the

International Conference on Agricultural Engineering (CIGR-AgEng 2016). CIGR (pp. 1-6).
The latest developments in the field of Information Technology had resulted in the
growth of new technologies such as the farmer support application. These farm management
software are very much beneficial for the farmers as they can improved their farming knowledge
using these software. The concept of data driven precision agriculture was presented in the paper
in an organized manner which can help the readers of this resource to understand the concept of
precision agriculture in a detailed manner. Most of the farming decision can be improved using
these software. These software also helps the farmers to understand to address the risk coming
from different insects. The pest detection algorithms is one of the most significant impact of the
IT industry in the last 10 years. The real time over-view of the farm is now possible using the
farmer based applications. The different ways to improve the agriculture industry is well
explained in this resource. Environmental factors such as the availability of rain can also be
understood using these farmer support applications. The agricultural knowledge of the farmers
can also be enhanced using these farmer support applications.

6DEVELOPMENT OF MOBILE BASED FARMER SUPPORT APPLICATION
Most of the farmer investment decision can be purposefully managed using the farmer
support applications. The total farming connectivity and data management of the farming activity
can also be significantly enhanced using the farm management software. Most of the risks of a
corn field is discussed in a detailed manner in this paper. Descriptive knowledge about a market
place can be achieved using the farm management software. The farm management solutions can
be very much beneficial for the farmers to understand the budgeting issue of the farming
industry. The budget issues of the farmers can also be significant reduced if they starting using
these farm management software. The entire faming community in terms of the whole seller and
manager of the warehouses can be benefitted using the farmer support applications. Plan and
creation of the budgets can be done in an efficiency manner using the farm management
software. These software are made in such a way so that it does not have any compatibility issues
with the mobile devices which are used by most of the farmers all over the world.
Banu, S. (2015). Precision agriculture: tomorrow's technology for today's farmer. Journal
of Food Processing & Technology, 6(8), 1.
The efficiency of the agricultural industry can be enhanced using the precision
agriculture. Most of the natural variability in the field can be effected using the services of the
Information Technology industry. The irrigation technologies have improved vastly after the
incorporation of several IT technologies such as the farm management software. Most of the ups
and downs of the farmers can be easily managed using the food processing technology made
from the farm management applications. The networking farmers can also be improved suing the
services of the Information Technology. The farming accountants and the rural enterprises using
Information Technology. The cash flow of the farmers cab ne significant reduced due to the farm
management software. The farming data of this farmer can also be managed in an organized

manner using the farm management software. Training has to be given to the farmers due to the
precision agriculture. All the activities of the farm can be managed using the farmer based
mobile applications.
