Introduction
The mobile cloud computing is a concept of the combination of combining cloud
computing, wireless networking and the mobile computing. This is mainly done in order to
achieve a resource which is rich computational towards the mobile users, operators of the
network as well as the providers of cloud computing. Typically, the mobile device run on a
mix of native applications and web based application. However, the trend is increasing to
adopt the concept of cloud computing into it in order to achieve greater result from it. As
estimated by ABI research the number of mobile cloud computing subscribers would reach
level of 16 million in the year 2014 (businesses, 2017). The Inland Revenue has recently
launched a version of myIR mobile application, which is developed through a cloud
computing completion about the technology. As stated by the strategy manager Brett Calton
of the inland revenue that “As the technology changes the way the companies carry out their
day to day business, we must keep up with and meet their demand”. The main demand, which
is indicated from the speech, is the resource of the mobile application. In order to meet the
peak point, the concept of the mobile cloud was considered.
The main aim of the report is to put direct focus on the concept of the mobile cloud
about the Inland Revenue department. The main emphasis would be imparted on the basic
concept, which is related to the topic, and the optimization level, which is required in order to
achieve benefits related to the technology
Mobile cloud existing in IRD
Revera: Revera mainly delivers optimized cloud solution, which is very much cost effective,
efficient and innovative. The process of recovery, backup, achieving and the DR services are
highly optioned from the implementation.

Xerox: The Xerox workflow solution mainly connects a mobile workforce to a new
productive way to implement the process of printing. Printing is very much easy and
convenient from a mobile device without the need of the drivers and cables.
Differentiate between normal cloud and mobile cloud
Both the concept of the cloud computing and mobile computing are linked together
using system which are wireless in order to transmit data. Cloud computing can be
considered as a technology where the user can store the data and the folders in a cloud area in
the internet. This mainly allows the access all the information from anywhere and at any
time. On the other hand, the mobile cloud takes the physical device without. This could be
the user’s laptop or a mobile phone, which mainly allow someone to telework.
Suggestion of mobile application
The IRS2Go is a mobile tax application. This mainly helps the user to directly interact
with the IRS directly via the use of the mobile phone.
Security issue in mobile application
There are different types of security threats that can be identified when relating to the
security in mobile application. It can be in the sector of software or physical threat. Few of
the threats can direct affect mobile applications, mobile device, the network or combination
of them. Most of the mobile device take advantage of the vulnerability, which are found in
mobile devices. This vulnerability are usually affected due to the factor of poorly
implemented control and on the other hand lack of awareness. Following are few loss of
vulnerability that can be found in mobile devices.
 Lost or stolen devices: As there is a huge mobile workforce, the security aspect, which
can be related to the risk, plays a very vital role. This factor can be associated with the
loss or stolen devices.

 Mobile device password: Most of the devices lack the password authentication and the
concept of the control access when relating to the data stored in the particular device.
 Mobile device Malware: user may directly download the application which may contain
different sort of malware associated with it. It can be very much difficult for the user to
tell the basic difference between a legitimate application and one containing malware.
Features that can be added
There are be a vast area of features that can be added to enhance the service. One of
the major concern area can be the enhancement of the sector of security. Security can be one
of the most important sectors, which can be enhanced at any time. A gateway to the payment
can be done so that the user can directly involve in the payment. The payment option can help
the user to make the payment in easy and convenient manner. Taking into consideration any
application should be user friendly that help the user to get what they actually want. A good
user interface that help achieve the standard of operation and well as experience of the user
who is using the application.
Issue in mobile application
There can be different types of issue that can be faced in a mobile application are example:
 Power consumption: Taking into consideration power outlet or the portable generator is
not available. Combined with the compact size of many mobile devices this may result in
unusually expensive battery used in order to obtain necessary battery life to operate the
application. It should be taken into consideration to take up the concept of greener IT in a
way to save the power and increase the battery life.
 Security standard: The security of any mobile application can be of high importance. If
the data which is stored in the application are not secured it could lead to a big problem.

 Network issue: the network issue can affect the usage of the application. The network can
be a factor in rural areas and in areas where network can be a factor

In the following section, two cloud providers are discussed based on the concept of mobile
technology.
Oracle mobile cloud service
The concept of developing an application in mobile is very much easy. But on the
other hand the concept of integrating the backend system and the services related to it can be
very much difficult. Most of the analysis can estimate that up to 0 percent of the mobile
applications, which are developed efforts, are mainly devoted to the concept of integrating
front-end mobile functionality with the enterprise system of information.
Oracle mobile cloud service streamlines these mobile development initiatives. It
provides each thing, which is needed for the concept of establishing mobile strategy.
Advantage of oracle mobile cloud service
1. Global scale: Oracle has highly invested in the sector of the information technology
infrastructure, system, tools. The company has an expertise depth of knowledge in every
layer of the technology. This can directly help the customer to rely on the service.
2. Excellent security: Oracle mainly provides the service of the cloud from excellent data
centres with the embassy grade security, which is applied to the service.
3. Standardized process of operation and tools of innovation: Oracle mainly manages and
standardizes cloud deployment to disk from application using ITIL based processes. This
process can be helpful in detecting, repair and diagnose in case of any threat to the system
(Oracle.com, 2017).

Disadvantage of oracle mobile cloud service
1. Firstly, Oracle private cloud are not on the part of self-provisioned with regards to the
customer and cannot be termed as elastic as the claims of the market may suggest.
2. Secondly, oracle engineered system do not share the computing resources pools in a way
that achieves same economies as infrastructure as a service in a public cloud context.
3. The oracle service providers are not delivered as a service. The solutions are rental and
can be modified (Oracle.com, 2017).
The service, which is related to the oracle mobile cloud, can be very much economical
due to the factor that it gives the user an option to pay for what they use. This factor mainly
enables the customer to reduce the excessive charge, which is concerned with the using the
cloud service and gaining advantage from the service.
Microsoft Azure
As the number of business bodies migrate to the concept of the cloud, the technology of the
Microsoft azure plays a very vital role (SDxCentral, 2017).
Advantage of Microsoft Azure
High availability: The Microsoft azure offers high redundancy in the data and viability about
the data centres in the global scale.
Security: The standard security model, which is followed by the Microsoft Azure, are detect,
diagnose, access, close and stabilize.
Scalability: The concept of the scalability forms the backbone to any good cloud provider.
Microsoft Azure is no different from the concept.
Disadvantage of Microsoft azure

maintained which may include patching and monitoring of server.
Requires platform expertise: The main problem, which is associated with the concept, is the

Google Mobile Cloud Services
Google cloud platform is a cloud computing services offered by the Google Inc., which is
executed based on the same products as the google search and other cloud service used by
google. It provides a range of helpful tools for the implementation of data storage, analytics
and machine learning procedures. The mobile cloud services provide the use of the cloud
services in the mobile device. This helps in the use of the service on the move and at any
time.
Advantages of google mobile cloud
Provides better pricing than the contemporary competitors: They provide a large amount of
bonus to the long running users of the services. This helps the perfect solution for the use in
start-ups and enterprises who wants to cut out on their expenses.
Use of their private global fibre: the use of their private network helps them to control the
flow of information among their servers.
Use of virtual machines: the use of their virtual machines helps in the analysis of their
systems and eradicating their errors as fast as possible.
Disadvantages of google mobile cloud
The change in the use of the cloud services require many drawbacks in the form of data
transfer and starting out the procedure.

of the implicit design higher in terms of cost.
The whole server based work is breaking the services and patter usage of the procedure.
Implementation of the private servers and virtual machines would be helpful in this form.
Security issue in IRD
The security issue is affected in each and everywhere where technology can be
reinforced. The most common methods, which are used by the fraudsters to collect the
information, which are sensitive, are phone frauds and emails (Inland Revenue, 2017).

It can be concluded from the report that the mobile cloud computing can be of high
benefit. The access area in this field is vast can be implemented in a huge area in the field of
mobile computing. The different security issue that can be faced in the concept of mobile
computing are mainly discussed in the report.
