A. Interim Research Proposal
Title: Cloud Computing in Mobiles: Directions in future research and Challenges
Proposal: Cloud computing in mobiles provides various profits such as scalability, extra life
of battery, reliability, and extra storage. There are many challenges which have to be
addressed for enabling the adoption and development of cloud computing in mobiles. Some
of these include trust and privacy, security, data transfer and bandwidth, synchronization and
data management, heterogeneity and energy efficiency. In the last few years, the cloud
computing in mobiles is changing the landscape formation of the traditional based mobile
computing. It can be changed by providing self-service, on-demand, elastic, and measured
services of mobiles. The mobile computing devices are tablets and smartphones which were
becoming an important part of the virtual and modern lifestyle (Noor, et al., 2018).
The paradigms of cloud computing in mobiles is the best way for combining the benefits of
cloud computing with mobile computing. It provides better computing capabilities in the data
centers to the employees. For the mobile computing, devices were designed with limited
software, communication capabilities, and software with mobility. The massive capabilities
of computing were delivered as the services which use the service-oriented and virtualization
technique for reducing the cost and improving performance.
