2CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS FOR MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING
1. Introduction
Mobile Computing could be defined as the new paradigm in the study of computing
systems. This form of computing helps in revolutionizing the field of computing systems and
thus brings immense possibilities to the people. The study primarily focuses on the identification
of the problems arising in the field of mobile computing and the ways in which those issues
could be addressed (Dinh et al., 2013).
2. Identification of the Problem
2.1 Issue of Accessibility
In the recent times, there is a huge form of rise in the number of mobile devices. There
has also been a massive rise in the new forms of operating systems. The impact of mobile
computing have provided the people with the opportunity to reduce the different kinds of barriers
and thus design an interactive environment. Moreover, it is argued that the use of mobile
computing services are extremely visual and thus could attract customers to avail such kind of
services.
Based on the increasing of such kind of services based on mobile computing, it has been
identified that there is an issue based on accessibility feature in the mobile computing services.
Accessibility is a major form of issue within the use of mobile computing (Brandenburg et al.,
2013). Some of the major problems that are faced due to the issue of accessibility are:
One of the important aspects of mobile computing is the aspect of wireless
communication. The major form of problems that are faced within wireless communication is the
problems based on noise, echoes, blockage in the path of signals and many others. The wireless
communication modes also have a problem based on low signals as compared to the wired
networks. Due to these forms of effects and the high form of error rate, there is a major problem
of accessibility errors. The wireless based networks have a lower rate of bandwidth and also have
higher forms of risks related to the security of the networks. These forms of network deliver low
and weak signals as compared to the wired networks (Bidin & Ziden, 2013). There should be an
increase in the technology embedded within the software that includes the data logging request,
scheduling of priorities, prefetching, caching and many others.
Mobility is also another kind of problem that mainly affects the ideas of mobile
computing. There are several kinds of problems that are associated with the aspect of mobility
such as dynamic forms of changes of networks based on mobile computing that affect the current
configuration of the mobile devices. There is a high rate of error based on disconnection that
mainly occurs within mobile computing. In some cases it has been noticed that whenever a
mobile user would disconnect their mobile devices, there would be a form of voluntary
disconnection (Fernando, Loke & Rahayu, 2013). Network failure within mobile computing is
also another form of raised issue, which is the root cause of the errors leading to voluntary
disconnection. The transparency based on location is not much efficient.

3CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS FOR MOBILE CLOUD COMPUTING
Another issue within the accessibility is based on probability. The mobile designers help
in the design of mobile devices, which would be able to satisfy the needs of mobile users. Hence,
the battery life of the mobile devices is a major concern for the users. The rising issues faced
within the areas of portability is based on smaller kinds of user interfaces, risk of loss of data,
shorter storage spaces and many others (Tong, Li & Gao, 2016). In the environment of wireless
networks, the limited power supply is also another major form of problem. In order to include
different kinds of features into a single device, the designers mainly make use of fancy hardware
that are embedded within the mobile devices, which results in the decrease of the battery life of
the device. The operations within the software are mostly affected that results in the consumption
of a lot of power. Additionally, it has been seen that the use of mobile computing has different
forms of issues based on shorter form of capacities and small sizes (Barbarossa, Sardellitti & Di
Lorenzo, 2014).
3. Conclusion
Based on the above discussion from the research, it could be concluded that the
technology based on mobile computing is moving at a rapid pace. The report focuses on the
problem related to accessibility that mainly affects the users and could thus create severe
problems. Hence the aspects of middleware technologies, which mainly focuses on the security
conditions, resource sharing and heterogeneity would mainly be able to cover the problems.
They would thus create proper environment of use of mobile computing services.
4. Recommendations
The above discussion help in focusing on the different kinds of solutions that could be
helpful for mitigating the problems. In order to mitigate the above discussed problem based on
accessibility, the voice recognition feature could be one of the preferable solutions. The various
problems in relation with the small form of user interface within mobile computing devices,
could be resolved with the integration of a design based on voice recognition applications
(Naftali & Findlater, 2014). These applications could be designed for use in different
smartphones based on Android and iOS operating systems.
One of the potential benefits of the applications is that the method would be extremely
faster rather than typing of text in search boxes. The most potential disadvantage of this form of
solution is that there would be some groups of people who might not be able to use this form of
feature within their smartphones. This could lead to a problem within the society as they might
not be able to mitigate the issues faced due to accessibility.
The technical aspect of voice recognition facility is that this kind of feature would
involve the use of different kinds of algorithms such as dynamic time wrapping, neural networks,
hidden Markova model and many others (Moore, Li & Liao, 2016).
The concern regarding cyber security, which might affect the solution is that there could
be potential harms in relation to the voice recognition feature. A wrong input within the device
might lead to cyber security concerns that might pose threats to the device and also might
increase the vulnerabilities within the mobile computing technology.
