Alipay:
Alipay is a China-based e-wallet online payment processing system, developed and launched by
Alibaba groups and its founder, Jack Ma. This payment system was established in the year 2004
in the Chinese markets to process online transactions by using the digital wallet provided in the
system. It is a secure platform which ensures maximum protection to the users and their
processing of transactions. It provides services in all the available platforms such as websites for
computers and application for the use in mobile devices such as tablets and mobile phones in
order to enhance user interaction in their organization (Alipay, n.d.).
Mechanisms used in Alipay
To process transaction in the Alipay e-wallet services, the user is required to create an account in
the Alipay application or website to log in to their system. Alipay uses various mechanisms of
transactional processes in various areas to process their payments such as-
Use of Alipay services using mobile devices- This method of transactional process is
performed in an application present in the mobile device of the user. In this method, the user
that wishes to commence a financial transaction at first selects the product/products required
and then proceeds to the transactional page to commence transactions. The page displays the
details and modes of transactions which can be performed in the system. The user is required
to select the Alipay method of transaction in which they will get the option to proceed with
the transactional process.
Use of Alipay services using mobile and desktop interactions- This method of
transactional process is performed when conducting online transactions. In this process, the
user scans a QR code which is generated and displayed on the website. The user’s mobile
device is used to scan the code after which the details of the transaction are displayed. The
user is provided with the one time password or input their security code or uses their
fingerprint sensors if applicable to proceed with the transaction.

Use of Alipay services in retail stores using QR codes and scanners- The retailer accepting
the transactional processing of Alipay services uses the means of fixed printed QR codes and
scanners to process transactions. This process is used almost all over China and among the
majority of the retailers. In this process, the user commences transaction by scanning the
printed codes in the retail stores or by generating QR in their own device and letting the
retailer scan the code using their scanners (Yang, 2017).

Abstract
This paper discusses the implementation of
mobile devices in the commercial process of
an organization. The application of mobile
devices in the present state is much more
than the previous era where the development
of this technology was not advanced
enough. Many organizations have
undergone through the trial and error
methods of implementing mobile presence
in the commercial processes in the past.
Most of them faced numerous issues which
caused losses in the organizations financial
status and also incurred the loss of
consumers in their organization due to the
issues presented by the process of
implementation. Currently, this technology
is advanced in many ways. The security of
mobile technology is watched regularly to
eliminate errors and issues. Now, almost all
of the major organizations have
implemented the use of mobile devices in
the process of conducting transactions with
their consumers to provide numerous
benefits that they can offer using mobile
technology.

Introduction
Mobile technologies are the modern
technology that incorporates the use of
mobile devices in the commercial platform.
This technology is currently adopted by

as we speak. Implementing this technology
not only brings enhanced benefits to the
organization but also enhances the
processing of the business within this
technology.
This report describes the use of mobile
technology in the e-commercial platform to
enhance processing of the business and
increase overall growth of the organization.
In this report, the process of mobile device
implementation is described. The benefits of
implementing mobile presence in
commercial process are also demonstrated.
The security issues and their effective
measures are also described in this report.

The process of implementing mobile
technologies in a commercial platform
includes various strategies and processes to
be efficiently organized to enhance the
business process and incorporate
development and growth to the organization.
The implementation of mobile technology in
commerce enhances the business process by
increasing sales and also makes the business
to provide their services 24 × 7. Before the
implementation of this technology, the
organization is required to go through the
following steps to enhance the application of
this technology successfully-
Knowing the objectives-
It determines the goals of the organization
and its objectives. In this, the products and
services that are to be provided to their
target audience are determined. This process
also helps in determining the main reason
for implementing mobile technology and
how it will enhance the processes and
growth of the organization. The objective of
a commercial organization also includes
knowing the requirements of the consumers
and their demands. The organization must
also determine their services that will be
provided in the mobile application that will
attract more consumers to their business
system.
Selection of environment for mobile
technology
This process defines the selection of the
desired type of environment for mobile
technology which helps in the process of
implementation and thus enhances growth in
the organization. Mobile technology
generally can be implemented using two
processes i.e. mobile application and mobile
website.
Mobile application- In this process, an
application is developed for the
organization which will process all the
interactions with the consumers and
process their requests and commences
goods selling within the application.
This application will also provide all the

Mobile website- In this process, a
mobile website is developed for the
organization which will process the
online business transaction of the
organization. This website is generally

Development platform
Development of the mobile application can
be performed in various platforms which are
selected by the developers to build the
desired mobile e-commercial platform. This
development process describes the working
and operating properties of the built mobile
application. In this, the developer selected
builds the desired mobile application and the
website.
Mobile application- Applications must
be designed by following the heuristic
principles to determine that it provides
the best user interaction possible. Using
the principles in the development of the
application will enhance security and
provide users with trust to process any
transaction in the application platform.
These principles will also ensure that no
mismatch or design flaws are present in
the development of the application.
Mobile website- The website developed
for the organization can be designed to
support multiple platforms such as
mobiles and tablets to provide casual
consumers with the option to commence
business with the organization. To
enhance this supportability, the website
built can be programmed dynamically
which will adjust the screen ratio and
make the full-sized website viewable in
the mobile devices (Hubert et al., 2017,

and the business. Some of the security issues
that can be seen in the implementation of the
mobile device are-
Security issues in the storage of data-
It is one of the major issues that can
occur in the process of data storing. This
issue occurs due to the absence of a
secure and safe data storage platform.
This security can result in fraudulence,
identity theft, violation of external
policies and more. To ensure that this
issue is not present in the system,
encryption methodologies can be applied
to the storage systems.
Weak controls in the server side of the
commercial platform- This issues
describes the problems associated in the
servers of the commercial platform. If
the servers of an organization are not
secured or the security used is not
adequate, then illegal programmers can
easily break into the server and steal
information of the consumer as well as

the organization. To ensure to eliminate
server-side security errors, the servers
must be thoroughly scanned for
loopholes by which hackers can target

p. 181).
Meager authentication and
authorization process in the
commercial platform- This issue arises
due to the presence of poor
authentication and authorization process
in the development of the mobile
platforms. Consumers generally use
short and easy passwords in their
accounts for easy logins and put their
faith in the organization to keep their
data secured. If the developers of the
application or website mandate the use
of longer and stronger passwords such as
3D passwords with more than 8-digits,
the entry layer can be easily secured.
Other security measures include the use
of one time passwords to process logins.
Insufficient protection in the
transport layer of the system- This
issue arises due to lack of proper
security in the transport layers of the
mobile application or the mobile
website. Since this layer is responsible
for commencing communications with
the internet network, it is always
required to keep this layer well secured.
This layer if not secured will let
malicious programmer enter in the core
system and extract all the information
present in it. These issues can be
mitigated using TLS and SSL encryption
in the process of communication.
Additional security can be added in the
layers of the mobile application or
program to enhance the system to be less
susceptible to threats and issues roaming
around the internet for loopholes (Eastin
et al., 2016, pp. 214-220).

By performing this report, the requirement
of mobile technologies can be known. From
this report, technologies such as mobile
application and websites and their
development process can be understood. We
can also understand the benefits that the
implementation of mobile devices in an
organization can provide for enhancing the
process included in commercial processes.
This report also explains the issues and
security risks that can occur due to the
implementation of mobile technology in
commercial processes. By performing this
report, we can also understand the effective
measures that can enhance the processing of
mobile technology and eliminate the
