1.3 Project description: The project aims in developing an application that will be helpful
for the farmers to decide which crops will yield them a maximum profit. This is a project by
Globex Corporation that have been working over 30 years to provide farmers with the
necessary help regarding their crop productivity and cost. The MBFSA project aims in
development of an application that is based on GPS system. The application will be
collecting the details of the location to suggest the crops that is needed to be grown in a
particular growing season. The project has a purpose of solving the problem related to
overgrowing of the crops that the farmers of the region have been facing over the years. The
application that is being developed will allow the whole seller or the manager of the market
to register on the application. The application can be used by the wholesaler and farmers
which will enable effective buying and selling of the crops. Virtucon will develop this
application to assist Globex with their project.

Part 4: Reflection
This particular project has provided me a learning opportunity regarding the skills and
knowledge a project manager needs to have. The leadership qualities that should be present in
a leader is necessary to be understood so as to choose a correct leader for the team. I have
learnt about various leadership styles and their form of working while working in this
assignment. Along with the leadership styles, I have learnt about the skills that a manager of
an IT project should possess. The manager of the team should at first think about the
motivational factor of the team members to make them work for the project. Dispute
resolution capabilities should be possessed by the manager and the leader so that the internal
disputes within the team is resolved in an efficient manner. I have understood the importance
of an experienced leader in team management and achievement of the team goals.
Conclusion
The report provides an idea of the implementation approach followed in the project. The
proposed project aims in helping the farmers to plan their crop. The project description
provides a detailed description of the tasks to be implemented in the project. The
communication plan that is prepared will ensure effective communication among the project
team. Since the project is undertaken by Virtucon, it is expected that the project will be
completed in a successful manner.
