Purpose
In this report, the discussions are carried out on the development of a game for android
mobiles that is basically a touch oriented and played in portrait mode. The main purpose of the
game is to provide the users with unlimited fun and enjoyment so that enjoy their leisure time.
The game that has been designed is named as “Tap Tap” which is an endless running game
where the player has to roll a ball without falling from the platform meanwhile collecting gems
that increases the point by 3. The game is very addictive as it provides an easy to operate
gameplay by only tapping on the screen for controlling the ball. This report focuses on testing
the game with two players to identify the potential issues or how the gameplay can be modified
for attracting the audience or players of this generation. The purpose of this document is to
discuss on the various methods that are used for playtesting and the results that have been
gathered by observing the players.

Methods
The methods being used in this particular context of playtesting the game “Tap Tap”
were direct observation and collection of data for data analysis with the help of structured
questionnaires. Survey was also conducted to identify the various issues existing in the game as
well as modifications that can be made in the gameplay for improving the attractiveness of the
game.
Participants
For this particular game “Tap Tap”, mainly two participants were chosen for playtesting
to gather results through observations. The two play tester were my friends who first installed the
game into their android mobile for testing.

Graphics: Both the participant almost liked graphics of the game as it was attractive and
have a pleasant look having proper contrast and brightness.
Sound: The sound effect has not been matched with environment or the gameplay and the
overall sound of the game is way too low.
Input: The input of the game is very simple as the user only needs to tap on the game and
they do not have to operate the ball with any complex controls.

From the above figure, it can be said that Tester 1 feels that the brightness of the game is
perfect whereas Tester 2 finds the game to be little bright.
