1. Introduction Background
Information,
Issues, and
Current Solutions
1. The use of mobile technology and e-learning becomes proficient in the nursing education. For the
students who need to be alert and ready for situations, since a sound care is dependent on timely
availability. In enhancing the problem-solving skills of the students in nursing training and education
cognitive strategies are necessary to be introduced. However, timely data transmission and learning
was the issue that limited the ideology. Several existing technologies to address are interactive
learning and diagnosis, support problem-based learning, academic electronic medical record, and
mobile instant messaging, etc. which were developed instantly to provide information to the student.
Thus, mobile technologies and E-learning help them in keeping in touch with the on-demand learning
all the time.
Shortcomings/
limitations in the
current /existing
solutions
2. Even with the introduction of mobile-based technologies in nursing, there have been several
limitations to be addressed such as ineffective m-learning activities, underdeveloped skill
development abilities, and applications, elevated cognitive loads, etc. These limitations have impacted
the application popularity of mobile in nursing education and training programs. The mobile
technology faces issue related to the implementation with respect to websites and software
development. There is an issue of updated content due to rapid update from one session to next.
Further, it lacks the monitoring system and the student gets out-of-loop with the content.
Importance of
solving this
problem
3. In order to introduce a well-sketched m-learning measure in real-time patient data management and
learning resource provision to the medical student, a socio-profession indication method is required to
be introduced. This research is proposed to be formulated to enhance the potential application of E-
learning technique such as mobile academic electronic medical record system, instant messaging
system, and cloud computing in the domain of nursing education system.
2. The Main aims of
this research
1. Several aims and purposes to be attained via this research work are:
To develop a personal learning environment for the nursing students with the inclusion of mobile learning
To introduce effective m-learning activities that can provide significant guidance to the students
To enhance the practice results of students in nursing with increased competency and critical thinking schemes
3. A Brief Description
of Your Proposal
For the formulation of this research work, mobile academic electronic medical record system can be effectively included to
be introduced operated with the instant messaging system. In order to facilitate academic success, cloud computing can be
integrated with the nursing education. Further, mobile phone-based self-assessment shall be used in developing the
