INTRODUCTION
Transportation sector refers to the sector which helps the organization and others in order
to have movement of people and products from one city to another. The transportation sector
includes the airlines, lorry, railways, shipping and logistics. This sector is the most important
sector which helps the people and businesses in the movement of products. This current
assignment is based on the UK Trucking company which was founded and originated in 1973 as
the family owned operation. The organization has spent almost 40 years in this industry and used
to provide the pallet in the distribution of services and product. In today's world the company is
the market leader in the North East region of the UK. The current report will outline the
characteristics and significance globally of the information privacy. Further this report will
outline the organizational opportunities and challenges in the transportation sector by
information privacy. At last this report will outline the value chain model that help to create and
delivered in the business by information privacy.
TASK 1
Identifying and evaluating the characteristics and significance globally of information privacy
Transport plays a vital role in economic growth and globalization because it enables
trade, communication and exchange important information between people. In the world full of
technology, Information privacy also plays an important role in the company especially in the
transportation sector (Soumelidou and Tsohou, 2021). Information privacy is the relationship
between the overall collection and dissemination of technology, important information, data and
the legal issues surrounding them. Data protection is very important in the business to avoid any
kind of fraudulent. Nowadays, data privacy is crucial part for the companies since it attempts to
utilize important information while protecting an individual's privacy preferences and personal
details such as name, bills details, identity of customer, address, bank details, financial data,
intellectual property and KYC documents. Glendale Transport UK Ltd needs to focus on
information privacy laws in order to avoid any kind of uncertainty and fraud cases.
In today's' business environment, in many cases customers personal details stolen and
sold illegally via electronic payment and many more. Hackers are obtaining the private data from
