This report addresses the critical issue of environmental pollution and climate change, focusing on potential solutions for mitigating their negative impacts. It examines three possible strategies: utilizing solar panels to reduce electricity consumption, implementing an e-bike scheme for students to decrease reliance on fuel-based transportation, and transitioning to a paperless environment through the use of digital technology in education. The report evaluates the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of each solution, ultimately recommending the adoption of paperless teaching methods due to its alignment with available funding and its potential for significant environmental benefits, such as reducing deforestation and promoting a healthier environment for communities. The analysis considers the advantages and limitations of each approach, providing a comprehensive assessment of how to effectively address climate change with limited resources.

INTRODUCTION
Any negative changes or unnatural changes in biological, chemical and physical
characteristics in any one of component of ecosystem such as water, air and soil can known as
environmental pollution (Xu, Nie, Ding and Hou, 2018). This study is based on a case study in
which ARUL wants to decrease negative impacts of climate change on environment and human
being. There are numbers of solutions that can help ARUL in accomplishing hiss goal and
making environment sustainable. It will discuss all three possible solutions such as making use
of solar panels rather using traditional electricity, using E-bikes by students for coming at
schools and university and going paperless by making use of digital technology and resources for
teaching. It will further suggest only one possible solution that is suitable and fit with all
available resources and funding availability.
Nature of issue that addressed by Arul
The nature of issue that ARUL is going to address is environmental. He wants to reduce
impact of climate change on lives of people and environment. Climate change and human made
activities are hurting environment to the great extent (Ferrari, Fallahi, Antonelli and Benvenga,
2017). Everyone are becoming serious and environmental conscious and ARUL wants our
environment to get free from negative impacts. There are numbers of factors that are affecting
environment in a negative manner to the great extent such as excessive using of plastics,
increasing use of vehicles and increasing use of electricity due to increasing population. So, on
the basis of all these main factors, ARUL has come up with some solutions but for that he has
small amount of funding. So, it is important for him to accomplish his goal of decreasing
negative impact of climate change on environment with small amount of funding.
Possible solution that could be adopted
As it is stated that the main problem that everyone are facing is climate change and
negative impact of climate change on environment such as CO2 emission, health diseases and
others. So, it has become important for him and everyone to make changes and make

environment sustainable. There are 3 main possible solutions that can solve this problem and can
help people in reducing negative impacts of environmental or climate changes such as:
Using solar panels: Solar panel is one of the best way of decreasing electricity usage.
Increasing usage of electricity is one of the main reasons of negative impact on environment as it
is becoming the reason of CO2 emission. So, by making use of solar panels in which power is
being generated from sunlight or less relied on power grid can be beneficial for decreasing
negative impact on environment. There are numbers of advantages of making use of solar panels
such as: less use of water (5 Advantages of Solar Energy on the Environment." May, 2020).
Water is the main source of traditional electricity as we need thousands of litres of water for
cooling generators, transporting fuel through pipes and others. So, if we use solar energy then we
will not require water to such extent that will eventually save water to the great extent. Other
main advantage will be: it will help in decreasing air pollution because less use of traditional
electricity will not generate harmful CO2 and that is why, it is one of the effective solutions
(Martins, Felgueiras, Smitkova and Caetano, 2019).
Upgrading of technology for teaching: Other best solution that will be helpful in
decreasing negative impact of climate change on people and environment is going paperless or
making use of advanced technology for teaching. In this digital world, everyone rely on digital
technology for performing their functions and making them easier (Sofia, Umaima and Rumyaru,
2021). Going paperless has numbers of advantages and it would be beneficial for environment.
Increasing population and increasing rate of awareness for education require numbers of pen,
papers for study and for doing office work. If we all use paper for study then we will have to cut
down trees and natural resources to the great extent that is not good for us and for environment
(Leonard, 2019. "Advantages & Disadvantages of a Paperless Office " 2019). So, going
paperless and using advanced technology like projector, word file in computers can be one of the
effective way or solution for decreasing impact of climate change.
E-bike scheme: As it is already known that due to increasing population and increasing
needs of living a luxurious life, everyone use vehicles for going one place to other. In ancient

time, people used to walk that was beneficial for their health and environment. But now due to
increasing rate of vehicles, there is requirement of fuel to the great extent (Elliot, McLaren and
Sims, 2018). Using fuel to such extent can have negative impacts on environment as it can
increase CO2 emission that can leads numbers of health disease. So, launching and using E-bike
that runs with electricity or not with fuel is other effective solution that can have few negative
impacts on environment. ARUL has come up with this idea and he thinks that by investing
funding amount on E-bikes for students, it can make huge difference or changes on environment
(Newson and Sloman, 2019, The Case for a UK Incentive for E-bikes. London). E-bikes grant
schemes in various countries found that around half of E-bike trips replaced car trips and it had
decreased negative impact on environment. So, as per its advantages, it can be said that it is other
effective possible solution for decreasing impact of climate change.
Reasons of not recommending at least 2 possible solutions
There are numbers of solutions that can be suitable and can help ARUL in accomplishing
his goal of decreasing negative impact of climate change on human being and environment. But
it is also found that ARUL has small amount of funding so the reason of providing only one
solution is to cost. If we suggest 2 solutions then it will require more fund and it is not possible
with small funding to suggest more than 1 or at least 2 solutions (Ray and et.al., 2019). Also,
with at least 2 solutions, it will take time so, it is important to analyze all possible solutions and
as per the funding availability suggesting one of them. So, if we recommend 2 solutions then it
can increase cost and will not go with all available resources and requirements.
Reasons of recommending one solution
One of the best solutions that can be recommended to ARUL for decreasing negative impact
of climate change is: going paperless and making use of digital technologies for teaching to
students. On the basis of analysis of all possible solutions, it is found that it is the only one
solution that can decrease climate change impacts on environment with available funding and

other resources (Dieck-Assad, 2018). It is stated that ARUL has small amount of funding and if I
suggest him to make use of solar panels then it will require too much of investment. Initially, we
require heavy investment for installing solar panels and maintaining them. Other solution of
investing amount in E-bikes for all students can also be expensive. Maintaining E-bikes is cost
effective but buying E-bikes for each student can be too much and it can increase funding
amount and it is also known that E-bikes is not suitable for all types of people. People who are
active and fit can only make use of E-bikes otherwise, it may have negative impacts. So, the last
possible solution of decreasing negative impact of climate change is going paperless for teaching
and making use of projector and other digital resources will fulfil all criteria of funding and other
advantages. Numbers of students use paper for study and for that we need to cut down trees and
if I suggest this solution then we will not require cutting trees that will have positive impact on
environment and will lead healthy lives for people (Ramlachan and Ramraj, 2021).
There are numbers of other advantages if ARUL go paperless for study and make use of
digital resources as it will engage students, will increase greenery if we do not cut down trees.
People will get oxygen and they will not have to rely on oxygen cylinder for getting oxygen if
their oxygen level decreases. Overall, it can be said that it will lead quality of healthy lives and
will protect environment from destroying or negative impacts.
CONCLUSION
It has summarized from the above study that climate changes are having numbers of
negative impacts on environment. Climate changes are affecting health of people and in few
years it will destroy environment to the great extent. This study has shown different as well as
effective solutions of decreasing impact of climate change on environment. Using E-bikes has
numbers of advantages that can be used by students. Other solutions that this study has discussed
include: using advanced technology for teaching and not using papers for office and education
and using solar panels for electricity. All solutions have some advantages and some limitations
and as per the funding and other requirement, one best solution has suggested.
