1.1. Mission statement:
Mission statement is the short statement of the reason for which any organisation
exists, what the overall goal is and the identification of the goal of the operations and the kind
of the service or product that is provided.
1.2. Business Realization plan using balance business scorecard
The business realization is one kind of management which determines how the
resources and time will be invested for making desirable changes. Balance business scorecard
is the strategy performance management tool. Here the main planning is identification of
appropriate resources.

Strength: it eliminates the requirement of any kind of time and provides efficient
connection among the people who are looking for the peoples to interact
Weakness: the weakness of this company is that the gender inequality among the
followers of the company. The number of men doing business with the company than
women.
Opportunities: This is an ever growing industry and the business sector would
continue to grow for the company and it would never go down in the recent times.
Threats: The threat that is faced by the organization is the threat from the competitors
who could potentially disrupt the working of the company.

Political: The company faces significant issues in the UK regions where the local

Environmental: There are some environmental issues that are faced by the company
as the environmental laws of UK are increasingly strict and the company needs to be in
compliance with the laws.
Social: The company flourishes in the social industry as it helps in connecting the
people with some peoples and the popularity of the among the society is increasing at a
significant rate.
Technological: There are some technological issues that are being faced by the
company as it used to utilize the telephone technology but in the recent times that technology
has grown to be outdated.
Economical: The economic condition of UK helps the company to remain in business
for significant time and then gain immense competitive advantage.
Legal: The company is in compliance with the various UK laws that are to be
maintained for conducting the effective business.

Competition among rivalries: The company faces significant threats due to the rival
competitors as several other companies are implementing their website on the internet
platform and flourishing in this industry.
Threats of the suppliers: Low
The company faces minimal threats from the suppliers as this company is not
requiring any raw material for doing business. The only threat from the suppliers is viewed
when there is some requirement of the data storage about the clients and the customers.

The company could be significantly impacted due to the buyers as in the situation
when the buyers are not coming for the services that are provided by the company then it
would mean that the business would have to undergo significant losses.

As soon as the customers of the company views that the company is not
technologically not up to the mark then it would make them to shift to the companies who
provide the enhanced services using the internet.
Threat of new entry: Low
As this company is based for several years in this line of the business, it makes them
the foremost business in this industry in the country. Any new entry would have to first
initialize their business accordingly and perform the effective awareness among the people
that might lead to the breaking down of the companies due to lack of significant investment.

The company aims to enhance their business process that is required for the effective
business. The information system that is most required by the company is the management
information system.
Project vision statement: The vision of the project is to provide the company
Valentinos with the enhanced Management Information System for obtaining the most
benefits from the present markets and also gain significant competitive advantage.

3. Requirement Catalogue
3.1. Functional requirement:
The functional requirements includes the interface requirements where field 1 accepts
all the numeric data entry, field 2 accepts the dates prior the present data, and then screen 1
could print the on-screen to printer.
The business requirements includes the proper entering of the data prior the approval
of any request, clicking on the approve button moves this request to approval workflow and
the all the personnel who are using this system would be trained as per the requirements of
the information system.
The regulatory requirements comprises of the full functional audit trail in the
database, the restriction of the access to the authorised users in the system and the securing of
the data by the spreadsheet with the electronic signatures.

The security requirements includes the ensuring of the members of group of data
entry could provide the data but that invidual could not approve or even delete the requests,
the members of managers group could approve or enter any request but they could not delete
the requests and the members of administrators group could not enter or even approve the
requests but they could delete the requests.
Certification requirements includes the proper access of the data stored in the database
of the organisation using accurate certification.

authorised users to access the system.

the customers who are executing the online transactions.

information for monitoring the access levels of the users in the information system and
restrict any kind of unauthorised access in the system.
Historical data: The data of the previous transactions needs to be secured and
maintained for solving any kind of disputes or queries of the clients who are doing business
with the company.

Scalability: After the implementation of the management information system, the
company might need to extend their database for storing excess data and in these situations,
the scalability of the MIS would be tested and if the system is providing the option of
extending the size then it is scalable.
Availability: The information system must be available to the authorised users at all
times and it could be accessed using the internet facility.
Reliability: The information system must be reliable for the employees and the users
of the organisation.
Security: The data stored in the information system must be protected at all times and
the security must be strict for the information.
Data integrity: The stored in the database must be maintained with the proper integrity
and it must not provide any kind of chances for the unauthorised users to change or
manipulate the data in any manner.

Factors that can affect acceptance by the user and ability of achieving business benefits:
The main factors that can affect the acceptance by the users and ability of achieving
the business benefits are the sales change, labour price, material price and the inventory
method.
Sales change is one of the most important factor that that influences ability of
achieving benefits regarding businesses. Marketing effort can be decisive in this case which
can affect the rate of sales change. The other factors which drives the sales are the product
line, payment options available to the customer and the pricing of the products.
