Models of communication
 Some important models of communication are mentioned below:
 Aristotle's model: This model is including five important factors of communication such
as audience, speaker, speech, occasion, and effect.
 According to Aristotle, it is necessary that is speaker should construct a speech for a
separate purpose and for separate audiences. This model is applicable in public speaking.

Theories of communication
Classical Theory: Classical theories is including many theories such as authoritarian theory,
free press theory and social responsibility.
It is identified that authoritarian theory originated from Plato's authoritarian philosophy.
According to this theory, there are only a few members which allowed to communicate and
manage the state.
This theory focuses on restrictions by a few people as other people are not allowed to
communicate. This theory results in the emergence of dictatorship.
