The themes of academic integrity include academic practices, complexity, misconduct,

I have a converging life style based on (Peterson & Kolb’s 2017) learning style profile.
As (Mangal & Shubhra 2019) outlines, individuals with this learning style are characterized by
thinking and doing. More precisely, they have a great problem solving ability and make use of
their learning to unravel answers to concrete concerns. They have a preference for technical
activities and are good at coming up with ways to put ideas and concepts into practice. These
people give minimal significance to people and interpersonal aspects. In my case, I am good at
coming up with implementation strategies and plans. Also, I enjoy engaging in innovative tasks
and actively try out new ideas. I like to know how new things will work for me, and try different
things and learn from the impacts of each. If I focus on a specific challenge, I don’t stop until I
solve it.
For one to be fully productive they have to manage their time effectively. Being a limited
resource, one has to apply appropriate time management strategies to ensure that they fulfil their
goals. To do this, one must start by setting achievable objectives. The set goals should be
specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely (Kaser & Oelkers, 2015). Secondly, one has
to make suitable choices and priorities where significant and urgent tasks should be completed
first. Thirdly, time constraints should be set to keep one focused and organized. This will ensure

that one knows when they are lagging behind and act appropriately. Lastly, resting by taking
breaks between activities is fundamental to ensure that one stay motivated and focused. These
strategies will help one manage time more effectively and complete intended tasks.
I will apply critical thinking skills to further knowledge and develop skills by engaging in
independent thinking, analyzing situations logically, and rationally, and being an active learner
as opposed to being a passive receiver of information. I will do this by recognizing, analyzing,
and solving issues systematically as opposed to using intuition.

I am writing to respond to your annual leave request. Although our company recognizes the
significance of supporting its workers in achieving a healthy balance between their work and
personal life, I regret to inform you that your request has to be declined since it is against the
company’s policy.
According to our policies, the length of service is an important determinant of one’s entitlement
to an annual leave. An employee is entitled to an annual leave if they have worked for 12
consecutive months of service for the company. Each year, every full-time worker is eligible to a
25 days of annual leave. This is in addition to the country’s public holidays. If an employee is
working for the company for their first year, they will get an entitlement to a standard leave
prorated depending on the proportion of the time they have worked, but they are required to have
provided their service for at least 6 months.
