INTRODUCTION
Tourism is said to be one of the approach travel for pleasure or business; also the theory
and practice of touring, the business of attracting, accommodating, and entertaining tourists, and
the business of operating tours (Gammon and Jarratt, 2019). This essay is going to deliver the
information in regards to modern-day leisure tourists, that are specifically travelling for different
number of reasons, and these can be anything from entertainment, business purpose and so on.
Including this, there are number of factors also be presented that motivates the modern-day
leisure tourist.
MAIN BODY
Leisure tourist is consider those peoples whose primary motivation is to take holiday
from everyday life. These travellers are generally characterized through staying at nice hotel or
resorts, relaxing in room or beaches, going to guided tours, experiencing local destination and
food and many others. The leisure tourism is one of the fastest growing industry around the
world, which include activities like visiting place which attract tourist, visit health clubs, eating
at restaurant, travel abroad, relaxing at room and so on. There are several destinations which
highly attract Leisure tourist such as Phuket (Thailand), Orlando (United State), Panama City

location motivate as well as attract respective tourist in effective manner.
Along with this, there are different motivation factors which attract leisure tourist in

tension so that they fell free and relax. Another factor which motivate is cultural motivation
according to which Leisure tourist visit place to explore different culture of country, that may
related to lifestyle, music, folk, dance, food, drinks and other factor which related to culture.
Moreover, there are also several other factors which motivate respective tourist in modern day

basis as human need. Therefore, there are number of other needs become secondary until these
needs are met.
