Introduction
In this report, importance of business communication will be discussed.For improving the
growth and development, certain communication trends will be discussed. Chosen organization
is a Canadian yoghurt company called “Modhani Yoghurt”. Modhani Yoghurt is established in
the year 2015 and deals with the small-scale market. The main motive Modhani is to provide
complete nutrition and benefit of the spices to the people.

About Modhani Yoghurt
Modhani Yoghurt is a Canadian company which produces tasty and healthy yoghurt. The owner
of this company is Barinder Singh Badwal. The company was started in the year 2015 and is now
the best yoghurt company in Canada. The most special thing about this yoghurt is it is not just
made from milk. Spices are also added in the production of the yoghurt. The idea was initiated
when Barinder wanted Canadians to take advantage of Turmeric. They then added a flavour of
turmeric in the yoghurt and sold their first ever yoghurt in 2017 named “Herb In & Spiced Up”
yoghurt. The yoghurt was loved by the consumers and this way Modhani gained popularity in the
small-scale market. Modhani also produces 16 other than yoghurt, but yoghurt was which is
popular than any other products.Modhani has a very strong customer base (Modhani, 2019).

For the growth and development of an organization, it is important to maintain internal as well as
external communication. Internal communication should be there because it is important to know

what the employees desires. There are some trends which an organization follows. Following are
the some of the communication trends-
More Listening, less sending- Some companies follows traditional methods of communication.
Traditional communication at a workplace is annual reports and annual surveys. This is a slow
process and generally takes a lot of time. Therefore, to avoid this, continuous communication
should be promoted in the company. The senior management and authorities should regularly
conduct meetings to know the views and opinions of the employees. There should be a proper
flow of communication (Haak, 2019).
More personalization- Proper communication should be used within the organization. Every
organization has there special texting tool. All the employees are managers are registered, so
there is no hassle while writing a mail or something.These are the modern communication which
every organization uses. Modhani just have 8 employees in their office. Therefore, there is a
need to increase the employees and then communication system will be followed (Haak, 2019).
More Videos and Visuals, less Text- Companies should communicate through visuals and
videos. The visuals and videos are the fastest way of communication. They can convey the
people more easily than compared to the texts. This type of communication can be promoted
when conducting a meeting. In meetings, talk about the plans and strategies with the employees
to grow the organization. Present the facts and figure that can prove how the targets will be
achieved and what will be the growth and turnover rate (Haak, 2019).
Digital Innovation- New innovation and technology helps in better understanding and
communication with the employees. New technological instruments should be used for the

communication. New media instruments are the digital presentation, use of photos and creative
images which directly tells the message (Haak, 2019).
These elements are used because Modhani Yoghurt is a newly established organization. It was
established in the year 2015 and became popular among the consumers in 2017. The product that
made this company special was the Yoghurt with some added flavours. The above acronym is
used because these are the missing elements in Modhani Yoghurt. Modhani yoghurt should
implement these changes in order to grow and develop in the market. Modhani is a small-scale
which sells yoghurt to the consumers. The special ingredient used in the production of the
yoghurt is Turmeric. A touch of turmeric and other spices are added in the yoghurt. Also, there
are only 8 members in the company. With the number of employees we can assume how small
this company. Therefore, there is a need to change the working environment because in order to
enter the large-scale market, there should a larger number of employees. Also, the company
should use new media instruments like digital innovation and use of more videos and visuals
rather than texts.

Conclusion
In this report, the discussion was about the importance of new communication trends which are
important for the business. The report was made on famous Canadian Food company named
Modhani Yoghurt. Communication trends that Modhani follows and what new can be added in
the change were the topic of the discussion. We boosted our knowledge by knowing about the
company and the various trends of Communication that does exists and can help a lot to the
organziation.
