Essay: “Do we have a moral duty to obey the state?”
Political theory is defined as political relationship among men specifically which is
related with the organization and based on government political theories are created by social
frictions. To complete this essay select the question “Do we have a moral duty to obey the
state?” Moral duty is the status of morally meriting praise, blame, reward or punishment for an
act or omission presented or ignored as per the one's more obligation. It is understand that counts

categorised into two types such as firstly they founded on a natural right and secondary for
obligation to be charitable that can be enforced by law. These duties are those obligation that we
should examine but we are not legally appoint to observe these things. These moral duty is set
for every one is same but in exceptional cases these duties are changing. It is a moral duty of
each person that he should lend a supporting hand to poor and down trampled. Along with it is
also moral duty of people to take care of their children and family so for this earn money in fair
manner. Morality is the regulation of society utilised to understand what is right and what is
wrong. Such as, morality is the belief in which someone is wrong to take what does not consist
of them even anyone would know (Krutzinna, 2016)..
Every person have own moral duty in regard of his nation that helps in country
development. In Britain, people have moral responsibility to support refugees from conflicts. As
per the 1988 act, four different moral rights were identified in UK. These are right to be
recognised as the author (the right of paternity), the right to object to derogatory treatment (right
to integrity), the right to object to false attribution and the last one right to privacy in private
films and photographs. These moral rights are related with the non economic of a creator that
protect the creators link from the work and integrity of the work. There are mainly follow two

right. According to this right attribution covers work of profession, drama, files, music, art and

the public. Therefore, there are different number of expectation for this particular rule. For

contributions to newspapers, magazines and periodic works closely-held through the parliament

been asserted by the creator of the work (Caldwell, 2017).
The right of integrity enables the creator to object to uncomplimentary attention in the
context of his or her work or any part of it. As per the right of attribution, the particular right of
integrity involve works of profession, study, drama and any more. But the right of integrity does
not apply on works design with the purpose of all things or computer websites work. Thus,
unlike the right of attribution does not required to declared. It is subjecting about a derogatory

the right to due process, vote freely, worship freely and many others. The UK government do not

It is require to follow all the moral duties by all people because it helps to maintain
political environment and people aware from the all legal legislation that can harm of their daily
life and business. It is essential for all citizen to follow the rules the set by the government for all
people otherwise legal authority take action against those people and they get punishment. This
does not mean that all types of addition, deletion, modification will count to a derogatory
treatment. For moral things law specifically offers that few kind of treatment cut down outside
the scope of the right. As a citizen I respect of all the law due to they are fairly discussed and
clearly enforced. Everyone is held responsible for the same laws and those secured us from
fundamental rights. This is foundation of the rule of law in united kingdom. In addition moral

Confetti records v Warner music UK Ltd [2003] EMLR 35: In this case consist of a piece
of garage music composed by Mr Andrew Alcee titled 'Burnin' that he sold confetti records. To

very hard to decode. When the music is played at half speed it was not always clear what the
phrases were or what they meant. In simple words, when the lyrics could not be understood so it
was created problem for Mr Alcee to claim that they were destroying his reputation. Other issue
related with evidence of harm to image and the court provide clear instruction that merely
distorting as well as mutilating a work did not conflict the right of integrity inferior the author
could present his justice in regard of his reputation. Therefore, the judge remarked, it seems to be

is required to abide basic moral duties at various aspects of life. It is so because these impacts in
day to day routines. Moreover, obeying moral duties are significant as they help in avoiding legal
consequences, developing better societies as well as assist in respecting authority. In present era,
no state wants to face any type of consequences related to braking any law and for this, it
becomes crucial for them to obey moral duties (Rhodes, 2017). Furthermore, obeying moral
duties shows the respect that an individual state have towards authority. When a state obeys
moral duties they gains various opportunities to interact with higher political officials from
whom these duties are enforced. It also benefits in understanding work gravity that is performed
by the officials while establishing and governing the duties. Obeying moral duties helps states to
develop various societies in better manner as adhering can make a state towards peaceful place.
The moment a state do not obey duties they unrealistic situations can arise that will make In

adhered in proper manner. The moral duties coordinates people to work as focal point that assist
individuals of the particular state to avoid conflicts as well as other undesirable circumstances at
international level. Along with these, when a specific state obeys moral duties then they keeps
themselves safe from any uncertainty or other aspects. Moreover, it also makes a state
comfortable in working with another one by obeying all the duties properly. With this, all the
families lives happier as well as more peace are made in all around state.
In states of UK, there are various moral duties of citizens which are necessary to obey.
Some of them includes right to attrition, right to object for false attribution, right to privacy and
many more. These moral duties guides all citizens to work in set criteria and protect them against
some or other unrealistic circumstances that can affect image of state in international level.
Furthermore, obedience of moral duties by a state also protect weaker classes as with these a
stable environment is created in which weaker sections are uplifted and situations of peace and
order are developed (Rulli and Millum, 2016). Obeying moral duties also helps a state to protect
individual lives as well as showing community what is right as well as at what extent things are
done. With time passage, these moral duties are changed and modified in accordance with fitness
of present conditions of state. This is why obeying moral duties plays significant role for a state
in present era.
