INTRODUCTION
The existing conditions of retail market are too competitive and all organisations
whether local or international are facing intense and cut-throat competition. So to retain and
sustain for longer period it is essential for an organisation to develop a competitive edge that
leads management to generate tough competition for rival organisation. Employee’s is an
important asset that is framed by each enterprise for managing diverse workforce in organisation.
For understanding this report Morrison’s is one of the largest retail organisation in UK and it
complete their overall operations with the engaging employees that are different in gender, race,
religion etc. Further, the report highlights on objective as well as aim that are related with
workforce. Project tools such as Gantt chart and WBS will also included in this report (Al-Bayati
and et. al., 2017). In the last, small scale research is conducted for collecting relevant information
from respondents.

With the involvement of globalisation among all organisation and industry it is identified
that working conditions, operations and functions of business are impacted. Similarly, with

al., 2014). Therefore, diversity in employees is also faced by Morrison’s that is resolved by
organisation by framing strategy and initiative related with diversity.

the overall efficiency of research and in context of this research the decided cost is
£250 that is used in paying transport fees, printing expenses and purchase of paper to
conducts research in proper manner. Time- Time is an important tool that is used to generate competitive edge in market and
it refers that by scheduling all activities researchers is able to generate better results by
completing project activities in minimum time period. Along with this all team
members is also focused in developing tactics which leads to finish project properly and
help to gain right results from research. Quality- For collecting all essential information primary method of data collection is
used by researcher that leads in completing research with good quality. The main aim
of using quality aspects is to generate positive results from research. Moreover,
researcher focuses on quality perspective because it helps manage overall project
efficiency (Syed, 2020). Quality control chart is an effective tool which is utilised by

Risk- At the time of assigned work and project task the major risk which interrupt the
research are the insufficient funds, no response from respondents and challenges which
reduces the quality of project, Further, research quality of project is also impacted due
to which it is complex to undertake essential project from projects. Researcher develop
skills specifically communication and analytical to overcome from different risk
factors.

Gantt chart- The project tool which is known as Gantt chart is used by the organisation
for formulating right schedule for each project activity. It is also effective because it leads
management to demonstrate relationship within all activities and action in order to complete
project with right schedule (Turner and et. al., 2016). Moreover, all required and essential
information which is related with company task and research phase are utilised in all project
activities for completing research actions in minimum time period.
Work-break down structure- WBS is a best project tool which leads organisation to
delegate and divide a complex project into small units (Uygur and Aydin, 2015). The main
motive to use the method of work-break down structure is to execute and simplify all project
