the organisation in analysing the internal strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats
causing due to the external environmental factors by which company can gain competitive
advantage (Landmann, Stolz-Römmermann and Günther, 2020). The present report is the
portfolio on the basis of pestle analysis of Morrison's - a well known retail supermarket of UK.

causing the impact to the operations of the business related to the issues like customers
satisfaction, cash flow etc (Puglieri and et. al., 2020). Therefore the above key drivers data
analysed using the swot analysis will be discussed in context of two functional areas of Morrison
and their impact in mitigating those issues is discussed below:
Finance department: the taxation system is the one of the key drive that will create major
impact on the functioning of the finance department of the Morrison's. New taxation system of
the UK will help the finance department of Morrison to increase the speed of filing and
calculating the taxes that company is required to pay and the taxes that are paid. The new
taxation system will completely digitalized the accounting system and automatically maintain the
records of taxes (Vafaei-Zadeh and et. al., 2020). The new taxation system is key drive that will
balance the taxes of the Morrison's and will analyse the major ups and downs in the taxes within
the year. Basically it is really helpful for the financial management of the organisation and will
maintain the transparency and accuracy in the systems of financial department.
Operations department: Operational management is the major driving force that will be
responsible for the changes in the operations department of the Morrison's. Unique system of
operation management will help the company in smooth and streamline flow for operations
within the organisation. Waste management is also very important key driver that will reduce the
waste between the various operations that are happening within the organisation which will help
the organisation in the another key driver that is sustainability production approach as reducing
