Background
Our associate Ms. Fatma Rehman, who is an experienced Mortgage Broker, was referred by
one of her old client, Mr. David Smith to new prospective borrowers, Mr. Fergus George
Newnam and Ms. Natalie Jane Carter, who have a de facto relationship. Fergus and Natalie
want to buy a residential property for their personal use and showed interest in availing a
Home Loan at Variable Interest Rate and preferred ANZ Banking Group as they are having a
joint savings account with them.
The couple has shortlisted a property at 27, Brown Avenue, Pakenham VIC 3810 which has a
purchase price of $458,000. This is the first house to be bought be the couple and they are
ready to provide a deposit of $45,800 (being 10% of the purchase price of the property) and
are requiring 90% finance. The couple is also in a position to take care of the additional
incidental expenses associated with the purchase of the property.
After the preliminary contact on phone with the couple on 12/09/2017, Ms. Rehman
conducted a detailed interview of the couple at our office and explained the complete
procedure to them. The required documents (as per the list provided below), based on the
information provided by the couple were collected and are being faxed to you along with this
memo.
Based on the complete record provided to you and looking at the background of the borrower,
we recommend that an early action should be initiated with ANZ Banking Group and further
steps for finalising the loan process are completed at the earliest.
Any additional information/document shall be dealt with priority at our end.
