I have been a mother for 5 years now with two beautiful girls, and all i can say is that it not
easy , but it's the best feeling i could ever get. I don't think any mother can explain it, but
once you held that new born in your hand , then you will know what i am trying to say.
Some mother will say it scary and stressful but with two girls 5 and 2, i can say it's
amazing to be a mother, and it's also the hardest thing in life especially for working moms
and those who are still in school. At times we just have this thought in our head that there is
this little angels we have to cater for or responsible for and knowing everything we do will
effect them positively or negatively on how they grow up and what they will become in life.
So it is left to us as a mother to choose between positive or negative. I don't think any
mother will not want the best for their children. The step will take today will determine, lets
put that in mind.
Many parents young in particular can face isolation, stress not to talk about self-esteem.
Sometimes we miss our employment opportunities just because your a mother. Many of us
manage on small income monthly and because of that we can not allow some certain stuff
for our children. it very important to get that across to our children. It will make thing easier.
We need to consider, and be clear about the ways we spend our incomes. Youth services
have a lot to offer young parents especially in the areas of building confidence, offering free
education opportunities, personal development and being a in place were everyone is com
and where they and their children are valued and supported. Youth services can also be a
valuable space for giving the young parent personal time away from the responsibility of
parenthood.
I believe we should always Involve our families support, it helps a lot. As for me, it saves me
a lot from paying for minding. Sometimes you want to get out and enjoy the day but
because of the children you are thinking you can’t NO it not suppose to be like that , family
members are always there for us, according to this special person he always tell me ask
and it shall be giving. It can also have a huge positive influence on the lives of the children
they will learn more from them. remember the saying ''two is better than one''.
My word to every mothers will be, please be there for your child/children no matter what it
takes you they are your future, don't get tired. One day is coming when we all look back
and we'll thank God for letting you take those steps you took to raise them. It never too late.
