In every business organisation, employees plays a very crucial role because entire
business operation is largely depends upon their performance and efficiency. In the absence of
human resource, no business enterprise can survive its business activities and function. Thus, it is
very important for management to develop such working practice and policies through which
employees can highly motivate and encourage for effective performance (Yousaf, Yang and
Sanders, 2015). With help of high employee's motivation, firm can increase its productivity and
profitability. The following research project have main aim is to understand the importance of
motivation in retaining employees within corporation. Therefore, in this report, various kinds of
motivation strategies and techniques has been systematically addressed with respect of Hilton
hotel.

In the present era, the entire business operation and profitability is largely depends uppon
the employee's performance as they are very important part of the organisation. In order to retain
the human resource within organisation, it is very important for organisation to develop such

time. The following research project will assist in identifying the ways through which cited

In the following study, the investigator will use some resources to complete the entire
investigation. In this manner, major resource is time and fund so by using limited availability of
fund, it will become hard for the investigator to carry out the study. In order to overcome the
impact of resource, the scholar will follow activity based costing method under which activity
can plan according to the time schedule and fund will be allocated according to activity. The
whole research will finish within a small time duration and this implication will affect the final
result of the work. In this research, the scholar will use the Gantt chart technique under which
specific time will allocate to each research activity or event. In addition to the data will collect
from the primary research and secondary resources will not access by the researcher while data
collection.
1.2 Factors that contribute to the process of research project
At the time of the selection of the proposed project, the scholar have faced various kinds
of factors which given their contribution in the following research. One major component is
interest, while researcher selected the topic then his interest of particular topic largely influenced.
With aid of this, the investigator has just wanted to identify the motivation concept and its
implication on the employee's performance and their retention (Hassan, 2010). On the other
hand, good knowledge and understanding about employees motivation also influence the scholar
to select the project topic. Thus, in order to use this knowledge in the practical aspect, scholar
has decided to carry on the following research. These two major component which contribute to

that company's employees bring to their job. It is an intrinsic enthusiasm about and drive to
accomplish activities related to work within the organisation. As per the view of (Danish and
Usman, 2010) employees motivation is a factor which influence them for taking high level
initiative and accomplish their task in an effective manner. Employees motivation is that force
through which they can influence for higher performance and productivity within the
corporation. With assistance of motivation, employees can influence for accomplishing the task
within time period.

important for company's growth and profitability. The entire operation of business is largely
depends upon the employee's performance. Thus, it is very important for management that it
always keep motivate employees and encourage them for higher performance. With assistance of
effective performance and contribution of employees, firm can attain impressive profitability and
growth. As per the view of (David, 2009) if personnels are motivated and encouraged then they
will able to give their best contribution and efforts in attaining determined objective. On the
other hand if employees are not satisfied from the company's policies, practices, system and
structure then their performance can negatively influence which directly affect corporation's
performance. Thus, it can be said that in order to achieve the high level profitability and
productivity of company. Employees motivation plays a very crucial role.

corporation in increasing profitability and brand image because as employees gives their best
contribution and takes initiative for higher performance then it positively affects company's
growth. There are large number of motivation techniques and ways through which it can
motivate and encourage employees. One of the major motivation technique is monetary rewards
that is related to money based reward. Under this reward technique, corporation gives incentive,
bonus, profit sharing, compensation, perquisites, fringe benefits, extra pay etc. This is one of the

and appreciate is one another motivation tool through which employees can feels motivated

through employee of the month or star performer awards is one of the best technique for human
resource motivation. As per the view of (DeSpain, 2008) participation of employees in the
business decision making is another best way to improve employees motivation. Under this
technique, top management or higher authority should invite personnels in the business decision
making through which they can feel important and valuable for organisation. According to the ()
employees can also motivated by non monetary rewards and appraisal like promotion, higher
responsibility, growth opportunity, increment etc.

organisation have direct relationship. If personnels are well satisfied from the company's
policies, practices, rewards, working condition etc then they will not leave the corporation. In

role which encourage and motivate them for higher productivity and performance. As per the
view of (David, 2009) if corporation fulfils employees requirement like financial, personal and
professional then they encourage retaining in the company for long time and they can not think
to switch another firm.

order to collect secondary data, scholar will consider some authentic source of books, journals
