Introduction
Motivation is consider is psychological term that can be unable to forced on the workers. It
can came inside the employees automatically so that their willingness to do work increases.
Internal feeling such as aspirations, requirement and desire. It impacts the human behavior so
that they are willing to accomplish their goal. Motivation increases the level of efficiency that
means employees start their job within minimum wastage of resources and time as motivated
people always opt for best use of resources. The motivates aids the employees to creates more
confidence to get their desires can be satisfied (Prüfe. and Prüfer, 2019). There are some of the
techniques that can be utilized that aids to motivate the employees within firm. Such as bonus,
increment, promotion, respect as recognisation as these can be used by the managers of firm as
some of them are positive while some of them are negative as if workers are unable to increase
their performance by positive motivators than the managers can also apply negative motivators
such as demotion, issues of memo, warning ,stopping increments and many more.
Types of motivation
Competence motivation- It is the one that can pushes the people to becomes highly proficient as
they can allow to becomes specialist within a particular aspects regarding their job. For examples
aeronautics, neurosurgeons , I engineers and many more. They are specialist within their field
and their motivation comes from that as they are the unique way to solve any type of problem .
Affiliation motivation- It is also known as the social motivation as it boosts social interaction as
well as person get motivated through spirit of cooperation with other employees by increasing
their social engagements. Such as volunteers.
Fear motivation- This motivation can drive the employees to avoid an experience which is
unpleasant such as termination ,stagnation, demotion within a role. But also fear of motivation is
not healthy every time as it may be effective for short period of time.
Power motivation- It can be considered as a positive way regarding developing career at the
same time it also leads to focuses on challenges. It is vital to respect the opinion of the people
regarding their own lives, religion, food choices as well as personal choices
(Abbott, 2019).
Other motivational factors which affect employees’ performance
Development is one if the vital factor that is vital for the employees as development is the things
that are capable of making employees self dependent as well as enables them to contribute more

effectively in the organization. It also aids the employees to increases their input within business.
When a firm invests within their employees it breeds retention, loyalty as well as motivation.
Development of the staff members inspires staff members to work harder so that firm can also
invest within them and makes profit (Abbott, 2019).
Work life balance- Employees who are motivated are not leaving firm, not taking any sick
leaves and also prepared for the long hours working with more motivation. Also these are the
employees who feel more burnout as well as feels less motivated and not leads to a healthy life.
Motivating employees also do their best as well as assures staff members are working more
reasonable as well as promotes health.
Work environment- Motivated employees also creates a positive work environment as it focuses
on the physical and non physical environment as the physical environment focuses on the
surrounding areas and office space as the employees work better within the open spaces with
quite spaces, green space and many more.
Leadership- A study found that the employees performance is managed through the great leaders
who are also motivators. Within the firm a good leaders inspires many loyal as well as motivated
employees so that they can perform high level. It is vital that good leader also has the reasonable
expectations that provides credits as well as praises their staff members.
Impact of motivation on employee performance
Motivation of the employees within organization are more productive as compare to non
motivated employees. If the staff members are happy as well as satisfied that can be very
impressive and the result will be very good. While on the other hand motivated staff members
also motivates other staff members within organization. It also assures employees outputs and
activities that are congruent alongside firm’s goal. Thus firm’s priority to assures that the
motivational tools boosts the productivity as productivity also defines as here people can produce
alongside efforts as well as enhances the functional as well as performance that includes quality
regarding how well the firm can be performed. It also focuses on the improvement, development
and learning within order to accomplish the whole business strategy as well as also creates high
performance of the employees (Cakır, 2017). Managers of the firms are also accountable to
assures the job that can be done by staff members within right way as motivated managers also
recruitment of the right employees that are able to do job. For the firm it also focuses on the
