2018). So, it makes company to motivate their talent in the workplace so that they can be
retained in the organisation for longer time period. I have selected talent management
strategies as topic because it is of great interest to me as it also covers data about the
different schemes and strategies of the motivation in an organisation. The primary reason to
conduct this research is to consider the conceptual framework of employees’ motivation as
one of an organization's talent management methods so that researcher can maintain their
career plan for the future development. Through this research study, researcher can easily
determine the effect of employee motivation programmes as a talent management technique
on Sainsbury's staff retention. With the help of this research, it will helpful to analyse the
Sainsbury's issues in the absence of talent management solutions in the workplace.

significant strategy that facilitate whole organisation to control and manage their human
resource systematically and appropriately. In the practice of talent management within an
organisation, staff motivation is very necessary and essential part in the workplace. Staff
motivation is required energy, creativity and commitment that an organisation needs among
its workers. Motivating employee is necessary so that they can be encouraged and remain
aligned with the goals and targets of the organisation. In the procedure of motivating
employees, responsibilities and powers are delegated to them so that they can do their work
more responsibility and efficiency. The company also gives provides multiple employee
benefits such as exercise facilities, profit sharing, company cars, life-insurance, health care
and many more. It is being considered by the organisation for maintaining happy workforce
in the belief that happy workforce is motivated and encouraged employees. With the motive
of motivating employees, organisation creates learning environment, provide monetary

challenges is not able to attract top talent. Without availability of talent management, the
company does not get talented and skilled employees. With the absence of top talent, the
organisation is not able to improve business results and performance. The other significant
challenge is decreased performance of employees. Without taking advantages of talent
management, companies do not get talented candidates and because of that performance of
existing employees also get decreased. In the absence of talent management strategies and
motivation schemes, employees are not able to retain their existing and potential employees.
This negatively impacts the image of the organisation in the market among different
number of competitors.
