Motivation theory is the approach of evaluating the drivers of an individual which can encourage them to
work and focus towards the achievement of desired objectives.
There are various motivational theories, such as Maslow theory of motivation, Hertzberg two factor theory of
motivation, McClelland theory of motivation and many others.
However, the motivational theories can be majorly classified under two categories, which are- content and
process theory. Content theory focuses on the factors which can motivate individuals. Whereas, process
