Team work is the most essential skill that is needed among all the employees who are trying to
work in any of the respectable firm. This is mainly because of the fact that a sound team working
spirit is needed in order to put forward a joint collaborative effort. This is because there are
employees from different social, culture and the linguistic background. If there are differences or
disputes among group members regarding their differences then they will not be able to work as
one united group. It is for this reason that a proper team work or team spirit is needed. This
group members is able to make sure that he is imbibing an attitude of caring and sharing among
all the other group members. Therefore he thinks himself to be fit for this skill so that he can put
it to good use and also be able to carry it forward for the betterment of himself and also the
organization as a whole.

A proper problem solving skill is needed in order to face the different challenges that are rising
in the organization and also to make sure that they are being solved without losing any time.

very natural fact that that will surely be several unforeseen challenges arising in the organization.
In order to make sure that these challenges are not coming as a major obstruction in the path of
the smooth functioning of the business all the employees must be able to make sure that they are
coming forward and taking up the challenges in a very strict manner so that they are able to solve

Situation
This is the situation that occurred when I was involved in my previous part time job. I joined a
software consultancy firm and I was trying my level best to make sure that I am learning all the
given tasks in a proper way so that I am able to somehow survive in this tough competition.
Task
I was given the task of preparing the content for the software’s that the company was about to
sell in the market to their clients. In order to make sure that the company was able to sell their
products to the local and also to their International clients they had to make sure that they are
being advertised in a proper way in the market. However as days went by, I was getting
overburdened with task. Though I was appointed as the content developer, I had to take care of
many other things. These included the client dealings, some of the live chat sessions and also
some of the accounts work as well in order to work on the mathematical software systems. I
realized that it is becoming very difficult to stay in a proper sync while working on so many
different tasks at the same time. This is because multi tasking is not really a very easy thing.
Action
I realized that in order to stay in the highly competitive market I will have to work over my multi
tasking skills. I worked on this and decided to carry on with an extensive research system. I
researched over all the different sites and gathered the ideas that would help me in overcoming
my errors like that of the inability of multi tasking. I decided to use the strategy of bestowing 10
minutes time and undivided attention to each of the different works that I am undertaking.

Situation
The situation took place about two years back when I enrolled myself in a part time job. This
was a research based consultancy form and I was working as the Personal Assistant of the

operations manager. I realized that in order to get some good job positions in future, I will have
to gain a good amount of experience. I will be able to get some good job or employment
opportunities if I am able to make sure that I have some previous experiences. However after
joining this organization I saw that things were going good. After the passage of 6months things
started changing a bit. There were several complaints coming from the customers and also from
the end of the suppliers. This is because they said that they do not like the quality of the products
or the customer service that they are getting from the company.
Task
I was given the task of looking after all the meetings of the operations manager and also to
collect the minutes of the meetings, I was also given the charge of scheduling the meetings with
the needed stakeholders that are actually needed for the overall functioning of the organization. I
realized that there are some issues in the front line employees that are the ones who are directly
in contact with the clients. As far as my knowledge the back office was working well and they
were all very efficient and worked as per the in instructions that were being given to them. I
realized that customers must also be involved in this survey activity so that the company is able
to know about what is exactly going wrong and how can they actually be solved.
Action
A proper investigation must be carried on in order to go to the grassroots level and be able to
find out the actual reason that is causing this. I decided that there must be a proper survey
conducted among all the different employees of the organization. The surveys were designed and
were circulated among all the other departments. I made sure that the names of the ones
answering the surveys will be kept confined and will not be disclosed to anybody. This ensured
that the employees are totally freed from any kinds of fears or hesitations in giving the right and
also the honest answers. I designed the questionnaire myself and made sure that all the necessary
questions are being involved in the same so that we are able to know the uses that is present in all
the department starting right from ye reception areas, to the online customer service executives,
back office, manufacturing department and also the supply and the logistic and the customers as
well. This was a very big survey and so it took about a month to be completed. After this all the
experts were gathered to analyze the results. It was seen that the company is following a top

down approach and so the communication is getting hampered. Due to lack of horizontal
communication and easy flowing system the employees are often not able to take part in the
business decision making process and there are several misunderstandings that are always taking
place in the origination.
Therefore special communication programs and sessions were designed so that the employees
are able to develop an open and horizontal communication where all the employees have the
absolute right to give in their opinion.
Result
The entire company management was very happy with me and also praised my method of
designing the non verbal communication strategy that is via the surveys. It was only through this
that all of issues were brought into the limelight and the needed solutions could also be
established in order to making sure that customer satisfaction can be maximized. However I
remember that one of the senior managers gave a very important feedback. Though she
appreciated me a lot but at the same time said hat I have to work on both my verbal and non
verbal skills. As the non verbal methods like circulating surveys is a very time consuming
method, I must focus on my personal growth in terms of verbal communication as well.

Team work
Situation
The situation occurred when I was in the first year of my graduation. I was working in an
internship project along with eight other members. I realized that the team was not able to work
in a very sound or a very smooth manner. This was mainly because of the fact that there were
several differences that were arising among the members. I was the youngest of the group and
did not know what as actually taking place

Task
I was given the task of collection the information regarding the ongoing team activities from
each individual team member and make a Power Point Presentation or PPT out of the collected
information to present it on the final day. I was excited about this task because it was my first
internship project and if I could do this work properly then it would surely be of a great help as it
would help me to get good positions in the near future. I was going through all the data after
collecting them, I saw that some of the members were really happy and satisfied. However some
other team members who are not coming from the native English backgrounds are not able to
actually cope up with the team. This is mainly because of the reason that they are not being given
the proper attention and the help from the team leaders. I was of course not very happy to see this
result because I wanted to somehow carry on the team work in a very smooth way.
Action
I realized that I have to take some or the other steps for solving these issues. The problem that is
taking place is because of the cross cultural differences among the team members and this is
actually very unfortunate. This must be solved as all need to work as a team and it was also the
duty or the responsibility of the team members to make sure that all the team leaders are giving
equal importance to all their team mates without being biased about anyone. However I was very
young at that point of time and was not able to make out what would be my next move. However
I was certain that I wanted to help out all the team members and make sure that all the team
members are being given the right kind of support and the attention that they actually deserve.
I decided that I will be narrating all these incidents during the final day of presentation. The final
presentation day was about a week later. I waited for a week and practiced my speech each day. I
worked very hard and also gathered my points as to why biasness is bad among the readers and
also how leaders must focus on the team management activities and make all the team mates to
come together irrespective of their socio cultural differences. On the final day I narrated all these
in front of all the college staffs, professors and also the rest of the teachers. This had some good
results as the teachers were able to make sure that the leaders have to be unbiased and help out
their team members at all points of time. The present team leaders were given penalties and I was
appointed as the new team leader so that I could help these team members to be able to the gain

their self confidence and know that they are much valued within the team just like the rest of the
team members.
Result
I was able to understand that I am good at understanding the team issues and also sketch out the
right ways that are needed for the overall welfare of the team. However I also realized that the
result would have been much better and also faster if I took the help from the anti bullying cell
department of the college. This would have given some support to all the members.

Skill-Problem solving
Situation
The situation took place when I joined my local NGO that worked for the schooling of the poor
street children. I was keen in taking up this as a part of my extracurricular activities. I was much
interested in this activity because it was trying to fight against one of the most harmful issues or
the social evil that actually exists in the organization. However after I joined the group I saw that
though all the members were trying their best to solve the issues there were often some issues
with the finance. This is because in order to give a proper life and also a proper schooling facility
to all the children who spend their time on roads and the slums, there is the need of a huge
amount of money. It is not really very easy or the organization to gather the entire amount of
money themselves if here is no other kinds of agencies who are active in making care of the
efforts and also helping in raising the needed amount of money. In order to make sure that the
NGO is able to carry on with the work properly they had to get a good amount of money so that
they are able to get more number of school uniforms, books, food and also a good amount of
additional monetary finds for facilitating the higher education of so many different children.
Task
In was given the charge of the assistant manager. I had to assist the manager of the NGO reading
all the upcoming projects and the plans. I shared my concern with him and also suggested my

solutions as well. I realized that as there is a provision for extracurricular activities in my school,
it will be good if I circulate this entire camping in my school and ask everyone to donate some
amount as per their capability, this in turn would be very helpful in making sure that the
organization is not running short of money. My manage liked the idea and said that I could
proceed in my own way and he is ready to give me all the possible support
Action
I realized that this in turn is a very good and also useful opportunity for me. I started using the
social media platform and started writing posts in almost all the platforms like facebook, blogs,
and twitters and also in many other such platforms. I wrote about all the details of the group that
is the NGO and also the actual issue that is going through I gave all the needed emails and also
asked the donors to come to the given address and first see the entire matter for their
convenience It is only after they are fully convinced that they are making the donations or the
help that they want to. I also asked for help from my own family and also every other family in
the locality, I realized later that I needed manpower. I also gathered other young boys and girls
from the locality who was interested in taking part in the social works. This really worked well
and many of them came forward. They helped me a lot to gather the needed funds and also to
talk to many other schools that would help us in getting these children get an admission in a very
easy way and also to be able to get their education and their courses in those schools without
suffering from any hurdles.
Result
This Endeavour that I took had a very good result. I remember that during that Year the NGO
was able to gather a huge amount of fund and also they admitted more than 5000 street children
into the good schools of the town and ensured that they are getting a good and steady education.
This was the record breaking achievement for the group. All the members really appreciated me
a lot and helped me to realize that I am good in brainstorming and also in finding out the
solutions to the different issues that might arise in the path of the organization. I will hence keep
on following all these steps and make sure that I will be later able to take up the different
challenges that are arising in front of me without any fear.

Self management
KSC- Ability to develop a proper self management skill with a sound level of accountability
I have got good suggestions from all my peers and I am truly thankful towards them. I have been
able to realize that accountability is one of the most useful aspects needed in all the
organizational setups. It is because of this reason that I must be able to take up the responsibility
of my own works. As multi tasking has become one of the major aspects, it is very essential to
make sure that I am taking small breaks in between works so that I can balance between all the
differ nature of works or activities that I have to work upon.
I will always make sure that there is no one in the team suffering from over burdening or extra
amount of work. It is because of this that I will always try to make the time management so that I
get time to bestow over all the different kinds of work. I will not be afraid of multi tasking and
will always make sure that I am being able to balance my routine in the best possible wa. I will
also try my level best to make sure that I am rendering timely support to all the different group
members so that they are able to get the time to devote over all the different types of work rather
than being over burdened only because of one particular work. Self management is one of the
most important criteria that must be fulfilled by each and every member who are trying to apply
for any private sector job positions. In order to work in any of the big MNCs or in any of the
firms they will have to make sure that some or the other efforts are being given by all of them to
develop a self management or a self dependency skill of their own. I will also ensure that I am
proceeding with a rough draft in front of me so that there is no issue in understanding the time
that will be need for the different kinds of work. I will always try to move on in a step by step
manner so that there is no issue in understanding about the ways in which one has to move on in
the path of their career. I will try to create a rough draft in the beginning and also make sure that
I am maintaining and abiding by it in a proper way. This will be helping me to make sure that
there will be no issues in meeting the deadlines by making sure that I have been able to

concentrate over different works like that of getting the customers, talking with the clients and
also be able to make sure that their requirements have been totally met. I will be able to make

I have been thankful for getting such good and caring team members who have actually been
helping me throughout in order to understand all my mistakes and then be able to understand the
ways in which I can work over the sane. I have been greatly appreciated by all my team members
in the present and also in the past employment sector regarding my written or my non vernal
skills It is because of the fact that I have always been very good in writing the different
assignments and be able to make sure that it is done in a very good and also easy to understand
manner. However I have got this suggestion that in order to survive in this highly competitive
market I must always be able to make sure that I am good even in the speaking skills. For this
reason I will look for sessions in which I will be able to learn about the different ways in which I
can work over my speaking skills and also make sure that they are being used in a very effective
manner. I will have to make sure that I am attaining all these communication sessions in an
efficient manner and this time I am not afraid to make any comments in front of public rather
than writing it.
I know that documentation is needed in many of the official tasks but there is the need for some
meetings or some oral communications as well. Particularly during any meetings like annual
meeting is essential for all of us to make sure that all the employees and the other stakeholders
are able to take part in the same and are also able to make sure that they are getting the
information in a proper way.
I will therefore start taking actions to work over my verbal communication skills. This is because
I will try to make sure that there are no issues being faced while I am trying to speak in front of
huge masses of people. It is because of this reason that I will be enrolling myself in all the fluent

English speaking skills so that I am able to somehow develop myself in terms of speaking. I will
also try to face many challenges so that I can get the needed confidence and also I am able to
address a huge amount of public without getting afraid.

I have been able to get a good and also very valuable feedback from the peers that have really
very been very helpful to me. I have been able to realize that there will be many issues while
managing diverse team. This is because employees or the team members will be from many
different social and cultural backgrounds. This naturally will have some or the other kinds of
impacts over the minds and also the though process of people. This will be very essential for all
of us to know that team management and team work as one of the most important aspects that is
needed for the overall team success. In order to get to it I must be able to make sure that all the
members of the team are getting a proper and also constant access to their leaders.
I will make sure from now on that whenever I am assigned with any task I am not getting afraid
of my rank or my age in than the rest of the employees. Even if they are senior than me I will
always try to make sure that I am not supporting anything that is wrong. I will always make sure
that I am being able to get to the root cause of the issue and also be able to fight with the same by
keeping up my level of confidence and also my level of understanding.
In the previous time, I took up the action but the action as bit delayed. As a result of this, I had
to wait for some time before I could get the right action. I was very young and also was suffering
from the right decision making power. As a result of this, I had to make sure that I am being able
