INTRODUCTION
Communication is very important aspect of every organisation. This help to communicate
and share different information and knowledge to employees for better work. The present report
is based on the “Mr. fishy” restaurant. The company is recently held the meeting for their all
employees in order to address some serious issues and implement new policies to ensuring the
better communication and interaction between staff. The owner of company is not attend
meeting. This report will represent to owner for information related to meeting like analysis the
purpose and principle of different form of organisational communication. This will apply
principles of effective communication for enhance practices. This report will also identify the
communication practices for themselves and others.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Theme 1: Purpose of communication
Communication is the process of passing and transfers knowledge and information from
one person to another person. This is very important think which is help to express different
feeling and information with others for result of work in respective manner. As per the view of
Clarkson, (2016), it is the process f express feelings. He stated that the, this processes share
various information which has important to understand by others for work. In the contradict
Honkonen, and Lipponen, (2018) stated that, the it is effective to meet the social expectations of
people. This is the ways through that people share their social needs and experience with others.
Help to brings people together for work and make strong relations with each other. It is very
important a function which is closely associated with all others managerial functions.
Theme 2: Principles of effective communication
There are various and different principles for effective communication that had helped to
maintain effective communication at workplace and also in personal life. It is the perspective to
be the effective only if the receivers receives the information and messages in the same from and
context as it in the sender want to be share. This create more effective culture between two
people either they are belongs with same culture or from others. According to the view of
Vermeulen and Campbell, (2015), completeness, courtesy and clarity are the best principles of
effective communication which has created aspects between people to give message to receivers.
In contradict Arnold and Boggs, (2019) stated that creativity, consideration and conciseness are

others. Both are thinks in different manner but said same think that is effective communication
has important for better communication network.
Theme 3: Communication practices
Communication practices has important for improve communication skills and growth of
business. As per the view of Eaves and Leathers, (2017), be relatable, keep good sense of
humour and active listening is important as per author in their own perspective. They said that
think first and make good and proper sense of words are create effectiveness of the work in
proper manner. That had been effective and valuable for the work and good communication
skills. On the other side Eaves and Leathers (2017), stated that the respond in a timely manner,
analogies are the key and adapt readily in any situation is create good senses of work in
respective manner. As per the both, beware about communication mistakes that can be damage
their creditability as the team new leader.
ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION
Analysing purpose and principles different form of organisational communication.
The business communication is very important part of the business. This implies strong
communication between two people. The employees of mr. fishy has suffers from the
miscommunication which creates biggest problem for the business and its employees. That
creates ineffectiveness for business success. Mr fishy restaurant have British and non-British
employees in their restaurant (Austin and Pinkleton, 2015). For that they organize meeting for
discuss about problem which had been held at workplace. The main purpose of communication
is to be seek for communicate their goals to their subordinate in order to make sure about the
every members of organization is working together for achieve goals of restaurant. That had
been effective and valuable for the business. Employees and managers had decided to take
effectiveness for business (Lalonde, 2016). In the meeting manager had decide to develop and
improve skills of employees to understand the local language and non-local language. That had
been help to increase goals for business.
Applying principles of effective communication
The chief purpose of communication is the exchange the ideas and things among various
people working in the organization. The process off communication should be helpful in
effective exchange of information which is remedies for the removal of barriers in

communication also point for effective communication. The management had take decision to
set principle of clarity in the idea (Principles of Effective Communication, 2018). This principle
is effective and best for implement in that all thinks which has to communicate and share with
others you should be clear in the mind of the sender as to wants to says. According to that
principle effective communication is fully inform to others.
On the other side, they decide to use appropriate and simple language. Through that idea
and messages sends in proper manner. That would be understood by all peoples in effective
manner. There has two types of words one is technical and other is words having the various and
different meaning should be clear. That is also help to share and transfer information to others.
That is very important for Mr. fishy restaurant to understand order and language of clients and
tourist who are come from the different place for spend their time and holidays (Clarkson, 2016).
The effective communication process is also important for restaurant to take orders and serves to
customers.
Evaluating communication practice of themselves and others
There are different and effective communication practices that had been important for
business and its growth (Honkonen and Lipponen, 2018). In the meeting and manager had decide
to take best communication practices for the themselves and others for overcome communication
issues which are happens I restaurant because there has two culture employees had working
together for achieve goals and objectives. The company had to be deciding some communication
practices which has describe as under are as follows:
For themselves, learn the basics of the nonverbal communication for work and good
practices. That is more important. This help to employees of fishy restaurant to understand the
feelings of customers and team members by using expression in respective and effective manner.
That had been important for the growth factors. If employees improve themselves by learning
expression language than some of problems are overcome in proper manner. That had been
important for the business (Vermeulen and Campbell, 2015). Through that employees
communicate clearly and confidently by adopting proper structure and posture. In that they are
able to avoid slouching and folding their arms and making themselves appear smaller than you
are.
For others, ask for the honest feedback As with most leadership skills, receiving honest
feedbacks from peers, managers and members of your team is critical to becoming a better

communicator. If you regularly solicit feedback, others will help you to discover areas for
improvement that you might have otherwise overlooked. On the other side they can engage with
employees in discussion which has compelling the speakers in audience have the limited
attention span (Austin and Pinkleton, 2015). To become a more effective communicator, make
presentations as well as discussions interactive. Ask the audience a question, encourage people to
call out their thoughts during a brainstorming session or at the very least ask hypothetical
questions to stimulate the audience.
CNCLUSIONS
From the above study it had been concluded that the communication had been important and
effective part of company and its growth. This helped to communicate and share knowledge
related to meeting with owner who was not able to attend this meetings. The report had describe
the purpose of different form of organisational communication which had helped to protect
employees from miscommunication which had occurs through different culture employees. In
the restaurant British and non-British employees had working together. In that they not
understand the language of customers. This report has covered by different principles of effective
communication. Those principles have clarity, courtesy, creativity and correctness has created
good communication by using principles of effective communication. This had evaluated the
different communication practices for themselves and others for effective communication to
business growth. The best communication practice for both themselves and others, to beware
about their communication mistakes and listen proper and try to keep good senses of humour.
