purpose of the business communication within the organisation is to carry the basic functions
smoothly. The managers main purpose is to communicate the information and objective of the
organisation to their subordinates in order to make them work effectively and efficiently for the
achievements of the organisational goal. The manager motivates the employees by
communicating with them effectively and employees receive right amount of motivation when

As per the views of the author Du-Babcock, (2018) the different forms of organisational
communication also includes oral communication as it is considered as a process where the
information is conveyed from sender to the receiver verbally. Like speeches, discussion, TVs,
radios, etc. the principles of effective oral communication is that presentation should be well
planned in regarding to audiences, time and other factor, delivery of the topic, well prepared in
the speech. The clear pronunciation must be their with the meaning full sense and brief messages
should be given as long talking losses the attention of receiver. The purpose of orals
communication is to speak in front of live audience formally of some specific topic.

Effective communication requires four skills that are learning, reading, writing and
talking. A good communicator represents these skills and responses in the effective manner.
As per the views of the author Ilie, Nickerson and Planken, (2019) the principles of
effective communication is that the good communicator must be clear in its thoughts and views.
The communication does not happen it needs advance thinking with the careful planning. The
principle of clarity applies on both clarity of expression and clarity of thoughts.
According to the author Prentiss and Walton, (2019) the communication must be
complete as incomplete communication keeps the communicator misunderstand and delay in
action. In the principle of completeness the communicator must represent the facts and figures to
receivers. The conciseness principle explains that the brevity is the soul for the good
communication. As the communicator must use the relevant details which are required in
message and delivers the message in fewest word as far as possible.
According to the author Sapkota and Vander Putten, (2018) the principle of effective
written communication is that the information which is conveyed must in the complete form. The
business communication states in the principle of completeness is that when the information is
given to the receiver with incomplete data and the facts then it will irritate the readers and leaves
as baffled. The principle includes answering of the all the question to the receiver.
According to the authors Xi, (2018) principle of consideration is more important then
other principles in the written communication. It give emphasis on the attitude of the person and
it represents the pleasant facts to positively approach the receiver of the information. By showing
the integrity it shows the ethical principles of sincerity and treated fairly.
