INTRODUCTION
Communication plays a very important role in every organization. Communication is the
process of changing the views, ideas and information to one person to another person. The
given organization Mr. fishy is a fish and chips restaurant in London. Implementing the effective
mode of communication will ensure better performances, coordinating the actives and reduces
the conflict between different cultural employees. The report will cover the steps of analysis of
barriers and the challenges faced by Mr. fishy in its business. Additional, it will focus on the
importance of communication practices. Further; it will deal with the theories of
communication apply by Mr. fishy.

LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Widhiastuti (2012), business communication is the process of exchanging the
expression, directing and receiving the ideas within the industry. Business communication
started with the conduction of messages and finish with the feedback from the person who
receives it. Further, Hunjet (2017) defined the business communication is a process of between
the sender and the receiver to convey views and information through verbally such as face to
face, using of words or non-verbally by gestures, symbols and posture to implement the
business communication effectively. The capability of communication with the employees
ensures the success and the failure of the organization. To make the communication flow
effective and complete it is essential to remove the barriers from its way. Garay (2017) added
to the point that organizational barriers are the interruption in the flow of information between
the workforces that leads to failure in the business.it includes the internal factors which restrict
the flow of information such as network, environmental factors, unrealistic policies, rules,
culture and many more. Shahbazi (2016) pointed out in the study that for the effective
communication, the organizations have to use the strategies such as the use of simple
language, active listening, and the right selection of a medium and simple organizational
structure to remove the obstacles in the flow of communication. Further Hargie (2016) refers
that the communication practices are the internal process within the organization during the
time of changes, it makes strategies efficient to achieve the organizational goal. According to
Carvalho (2017) organization with extremely active communication practices can earn greater
returns to shareholders compared to an organization with bad or poor communication level.

Communication is an internal part which is very effective for implementing the internal
strategies in Mr Fishy (Widhiastuti, 2016). The main purpose of implementing the strategies are
as follows-
Created a plan-The first and foremost thing done the plan the strategies for the staff members
in the Mr. fishy in which analyzed the needs of employees and organization also.
Dynamic and social work environment-Another, practices used to create a dynamic and social
work environment in the culture of Mr. fishy that leads to boosting the productivity, creativity
and interest of the employees.
Provided opportunity to participate-By offer the opportunities to participate in offering ideas,
suggestions, and feedback so the employee feels that they are also important for the
organization and their views been heard by management (Yuriev, et al., 2018).
Teamwork-encouraged the teamwork, so the employees coordinated and learn from each
other.
Used right communication tool-for making the internal communication effective, it is essential
to use the right tool like group chats, emails, that is easy to use for the staff.
Motivation- the main purpose of MR. fishy not only communicated an effective tool with the
employee. Communication also includes the motivation and inspiration so that employees
morale boost and they performed better to achieve the goal of Mr Fishy (Baker and Warren,
2015).

Strategies applied to overcome the Communication Barriers within Mr Fishy
Awareness about the different cultures- staff in Mr Fishy have come together with different
background and cultures (Chiocchio, 2016). With the help of using the common language which
all staff was able to understand easily is essential to remove the cultural barriers.
The clarity in conveying the message to the members been necessary for Mr Fishy for effective
working. By conveying the message up to pint and precisely and taking the confirmation and
check after the convey that the information is understood by the listener in the same sense is
the best way to overcome the barrier of unclarity.
The next strategies used by the Mr. fishy is the proper selection of a mode of communication
like short messages conveyed orally through meetings, and face to face interaction and for the

knows to whom they have to report in the organization.
