For this study, researcher chooses Burning issue for young skin from Herald Sun
Newspaper, January 24, 2020.
Article relate to UNSDGs
The current article is related to Goal 3 from UNSDGs: Good health and Well being,
which refers to ensure the healthy lives and promote well-being of all the age people and also
provide necessary facilities to them at the time of emergency. In the same way, current article is
also highlights that Kids are showing severe sunburn to an emergency department from summer
and even experts are also requesting their parents to look after their children’s skin. Such that in
2019 and 2019, there were 5 severe cases found who are presented at emergency department and
the age of those children is only 9. Moreover, after some time, there were 296 cases across all
ages who presented at emergency department and around 160 are consider as a semi-urgent,
while 69 were urgent.
Important stakeholders
Under this case some of the key stakeholders are as mention below:
Parents: One of the important key stakeholders who actually suffers a lot after children
because their children are in sever condition. They are the individual who are ready to pay any
cost in order to get better treatment form the hospitals to cure their children. So it is the duty of
the parents to take care of their children and take prevent actions as well.
Children: Another stakeholder who actually suffer from the issue because most of the
cases in Australia of skin burn are related to small children and many of them are urgent as well
(Sheridan, 2020). Also, they are the most important stakeholder because they suffer the most due
to skin burning.
Government: they are the official bodies who take preventive actions in order to get rid
from the problem. As per the Goal 3 under UNSDG, government is entirely responsible if any of
the citizen face issue with regards to a specific problem. That is why, they take preventive action
and also pressurize among scientist to prepare the vaccine in order to cure the issue.

Healthcare professionals: They are the group of specialist who provide health care
treatment and also provide formal training to the doctors in order to provide better treatment to
their patients. In the same way, as per the current article, they are liable to take preventive
actions and also provide guidelines to the hospitals to make sure that they help the doctors to
prevent the disease (Lodescar and et.al., 2020). They also work with government in order to
provide effective measures so that citizens of Australia get rid from the problem easily.
Hospitals: One of the most important stakeholder who provide effective treatment to the
children who suffer from the sunburn disease. Also, they provide measures to the parents in
order to deal with UV rays and helps not make the situations critical.
Media: They keep providing news related to issue to every individual and make the m
aware with a problem. Further, they keep update the individual regarding new case and provide
in depth detail of each case so that people will take care themselves. The article of Herald Sun
Newspaper also recommend people to take care of their people so that they contribute their bets
to minimize the problem(Lin and et.al., 2020).
Potential marketing issues determine from the article
As per this article, unmatched coverage is consider one of the biggest issue in marketing
because they have limited time. On the other side, most of the parents do not wants to share their
children’s experience but the newspaper article publish the report without any deep investigation.
As a result, this cause negative impact upon the children mind and this in turn the point of view
of many children as well.
On the other side, they protect the sensitive source which allow the user to communicate
directly. Therefore, it is the duty of the publisher to make sure that they protect the sensitive
content and do not disclose the parents and children name or identity in front of the other reader.
Also, in this era, and advance competition from corporate media, newspaper article publish
wrong information (Yoon and et.al., 2020). But in the same of the current article, it is analyzed
that this do not posses enough information which helps to attract the customers and even the
option of marketing is not right. Because in this era of digitalization most of the readers prefer
to use online sites rather than newspaper and eve the content written on it, is also not affective
that catch eyes of many customers towards it.

Respond from the issue
In order to respond the issue, it is suggested to the newspaper article that they should use
social media platform in order to share their news because around 90% of the people uses this n
order to be update. On the other side, it is also recommended to them not to publish any
misinformation related to the burning skin because it will not easily attracted or grab attention of
many customers. On the other side, to response from the issue, government should take action
and also create awareness so that they reduce the impact of UV rays upon the young skin. Also,
when any article publish wrong news in their article, thee must take strict actions upon the
journalist and company so that they will not do the same in future as well (Godat and et.al.,
2020).
On the other side, as this issue is related to SDGs Goal 3, which state that it is the duty of
the government and health care professionals in order to take better action and also provide best
vaccines or medication facilities to their patients so that they reduce the impact upon their health.
Also, some public health bodies must be introduce who completely look after these problem and
provide effective measures as well. In this way, the problem can be easily minimized.
